Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre — Local services in Manchester

We had never been to bella italia before so was looking forward to a nice meal after the cinema, we had pre booked our table and as we walked in was told "be there in a minute", once we we're sat at our table we browsed the menu and waited for sevice, after a few minutes we ordered our food and waited, as we we're sat near the serving hatch, we could hear what sounded like someone get told off. Anyway my wife's order was unavailable so she ordered Gnocchi Pesto verde and we waited for our food. Once it arrived the server placed our food for each of us and asked "would you like parmesan", my wife said yes please and he looked at her like she had just called his mum a derogatory name, shrugged his shoulders and Said "okay", now I know you may not have parmesan on her meal but she wanted some, at this point the way he had shrugged had made me feel very uncomfortable, but we just carried on and ate our food, when we had finished, we moved our plates to the end of the table and waited just over 5 minutes for them to be removed at which point we were asked if we would like the dessert menu, when we said no thanks his eyes widened again like we had just called him a name. Then we tried to get our servers notice so we could get our bill but he was too busy talking to the customers behind us for 10 minutes. After this we got the bill and ended up walking to the bar to pay as we really didn't want to be in here any longer. A pleasant meal but an unpleasant member of staff made our visit only average. Soooo busy that you had to queue up. Booked for my bowling slot 4 hours in advance, got there 10 minutes before, only to be told to wait another 30 minutes. I'm a bit disappointed with that. Car park on the rear has no physical lighting visibility. After the bowling games, I went back to the car park only to notice that my car fuel tank had been opened with some fuel taken out which was a bit concerning. I raised alarm at the car park only for a fellow motorist to confirm that it is becoming a regular thing at the car park. I will suggest stores using the car park come together to improve security in the car park for their customers as this might discourage punters in the long run. Hygiene wise for Tenpin needs to be improved as regular checks by the toilet cleaner is necessary. Furthermore, the surrounding eating table needs to be cleared and floors tidied up at regular intervals. I will be visiting again to see if improvements have been made to the above...

Went to see new Ken Loach Film, with my cuz. Think it was called "Sorry we missed you". Its about delivery men for Amazon etc. Not unusual you're thinking to yourself but, this was because, it was 12.10 in the afternoon . Bought small sweet and salt popcorn, can't resist, got to have popcorn and cuz got large bag of Maltezers. Bit naughty but nice. I have a rule, if going to flicks I can treat myself to something that's bad for me. So, we went in and its just me and cuz, on our own, in massive cinema watching adverts before the film. A few more people came in as film started so, we were a small select group of people who, I'm guessing, were fans of Ken Loach. Well, if I wasn't depressed before I went in I certainly was by the time I came out. Flipping Heck, talk falling on hardtimes, this was biblical. I felt guilty cos I could afford to buy popcorn.
