Xpress pizza — Restaurant in Manchester

I ordered a pizza and my phone didn't work properly but the buzzer at the door did. After 3 hrs of waiting, assuming they are busy because of COVID and the lockdown, when I thought it's rude to rush any takeaway during this hard times, with no communication from the venue (no email, no nothing)I called them and they claimed they tried to deliver using the door buzzer - which is working and never made any sound. After a phone call they refused to refund it in any way, not mentioning that we didn't get any food at all in the end. Worst experience of my life! The food was taking around 45 mins and since we’re close by we called for an update twice and they said it’s on the way. When the driver came he first came to the wrong building and was really rude on the phone. Once he came to the correct location I came out to get the food and he went off on me. The guy said instead of calling 200 times why dont you walk to the restaurant and get your food. And they didnt mention anything about cash payment and when i asked for the card machine the guy is like give me back the food you cant pay for it. He was beyond rude and said not to order from them anymore and left. Worst experience ever. I will never order...

Tried for the first time a few weeks ago and was delighted with the food. The offer buy one get one free on all pizza wasn’t on the just eat site when I ordered but they rang me and asked me would I like an extra one for free to which I thought was really good of them as I didn’t know the offer was on. Now I won’t order pizza from anywhere else always , hot, fresh, correct order and in time allocated. Delivery drivers always pleasant and polite with me. Definitely recommend and are now my only point of call when I fancy a pizza! Thanks Xpress...
