We didn't actually get to eat here as we decided to leave 5 minutes after arriving! Their website outlined a Happy Hour menu served until 7pm and so we arranged a work meal and booked a large table. Upon booking we were told that the Happy Hour menu actually finishes at 6:30pm, however if we were in for 6:30pm they would honour this menu for our group as the website was incorrect. We arrived at 6:25pm in full numbers and were met by a very rude waiter who didn't seem in any way interested in welcoming us, he then continued to say that we have 3 or 4 minutes to get our order completed or else we will have to pay the full a la carte prices. We expressed that we had pre-arranged this at the time of booking - he was not interested in this whatsoever, raised his voice to our group and continued to just repeat 'no' until we opted to leave and go elsewhere. We were the only table in the restaurant at that time and we just got the impression that they didn't want anyone in that night? We will not be venturing back to Blue Chilli and would recommend that this place is avoided by all...

Used this restaurant a few times for excellent takeaways, this is the second time eating in -Wednesday evening. Good welcome - empty when I arrived but soon filled up. Nice to hear Thai music playing - (unlike the Blue Elephant in London who played The Carpenters on the panpipes) Singha beer (tick) Thai prawn crackers (tick) Thai Fish Cakes (tick) Crispy Roasted duck curry with Crispy Noodles (tick) yummy flavours finished all. (Photos to proove) Finished with Chocolate icecream and a non Thai Irish Coffee.

Only criticism forget the Irish coffee, they need a lesson on how to make one...

I was hoping to leave a more deserving review as i love Thailand, its culture, the people and its amazing food. Its called the land of smiles, i however was not smiling. I was honestly unbelievably dissapointed with our order. How can you mess phad thai up? It had one consistent flavour... burnt! Ordered thai crackers... i recieved a small bag of mixed prawn crackers that cost me £3... free with a chinese! The sticky rice £6 and was a childs portion! Ive visited Thailand many times and have never ate this poor standard of food whilst there! I'm sorry but i will not be ordering from...

I've been here a number of times at lunchtime. I always partake in the lunch menu where you get a starter and main for £9.95 and it's worth every penny. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, even my fussy husband loves it here. I just love the tempura prawns for starter and the hot basil leaves curry is wonderful, quite spicy but very flavourful, it comes with sticky rice and I love it, I normally hate stodgy rice but this is perfect. Can't recommend this place enough. Also the banana dessert is *chefs kiss*

My boyfriend and I came here many times for lunch set menus and they were excellent. However we decided to have a go at the dinner and it turned out to be the wrong decision. My dish pad Thai was tasteless and very average with the price they charged (they probably forgot to add salt). I have to ask them for a salt mill which is very inappropriate in a Thai restaurant. The platter for two was good though. Overall, I recommend lunch, but not dinner unfortunately.
