Green's Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

Wow, where to begin?! As bottomless brunch veterans, we’ve been wanting to visit Greens since they opened, especially as all the food and drink bloggers have been raving about them. We waited for a special occasion, which was my birthday, and I’m so happy that we chose to celebrate with Greens! The team kindly decorated our table and got me a birthday card, and they took on board my friends’ comments about me being a slow drinker, which is why I’m now on my second day of a hangover haha. The bottomless brunch was incredible - my favourite kind of food (cheese, meats, olives etc) and all the variety of drinks you could want (including any off-menu drinks). Nothing was too much trouble. The team were so flexible with the time too, meaning we stayed much later than we thought, then returned later in the evening, as Greens really was the best place to be! The team’s attention-to-detail, generosity, and kindness was wonderful, and we had so much fun celebrating my birthday with them - they were certainly an extension of our friendship group that evening. Would say it was okay overall. Had a nice time but definitely saw the bottom of the glass, so was hard to class as "bottomless". Cheese and charcuterie board was nice but drinks took a while to order and a while to come, seemed as though the drinks on offer were a little overcomplicated for the amount of staff on shift, even though the tables were weren't full they were working above their capacity. When it came to paying, I was given a receipt and I ask to pay on card. A different server guy approached with a card machine and muttered the amount so quickly I didn't quite catch what he was saying (again - clearly overstretched staff and also notable that when offering bottomless cocktails, it might be wise to articulate properly), I tapped my card on the machine, we took a minute to finish our drinks and left.. Only to then be chased down the road by the server, seemingly quite stressed, because he'd made a mistake and undercharged us. Came in here a few times with my friend for a few times and every time has been a good experience. Nice quick, pleasant service beer always been good and we ate once had a few starters they were good too. Has a good selection of wines, spirits, cocktails and the madri is 👌🏼 🍺🍻🍷🍸🍹🥂🍾🥃. If you are shopping its a good stop off or even for a bloke or woman to leave the other half to it while you relax lol. On the sunny days has outdoors seating both sides with a small fake grass to sit in and watch the world go by. Their location is in mall square so central to all shops, restaurants and bigger clubs/ bars to continue the night in.
