Visited for drinks and food to take away, waited 20 mins for our drinks, it was a busy morning and so we understood it may take longer than usual which was fine. My daughter ordered her usual drink, pumpkin iced chai latte and when given to her it was slightly warm and the pumpkin cream on top was like water. The colour of the drink was also odd. On tasting the chai was non existent and bland. I politely asked for the drink to be remade as it didn’t taste quite right and was met with attitude from the girl serving, she reluctantly agreed to remake the drink and proceeded to then loudly moan to other members of staff about how we had complained. Cue her slamming cups and equipment down and then upon handing us the drink we were met with a filthy look and ‘I’ve added extra Chai so if it’s still not right I dunno’ then walked off. Read moreI arrived at 6:30am on a Saturday and the barriers were across the drive through. Online it states they open at 6:30am and I have arrived at 6:30am multiple times. I waited 10 mins before I called and asked "what time do you open for drive thru and they stated "6:30am and I will remove the barrier now for you" I then tried to go in and he then changed his story and said "we open at 7am, nothing is ready yet and the opening time is wrong" I then said "you just told me over the phone you open at 6:30am" He then back tracked his story and lied to me and said google is wrong and that he meant to say 7am. Read moreThe food is generally good, and the drinks are nice too (if and when they get them right). There is a lot of inconsistency with service though - it's like they've got no clue what "efficiency" is from one team to the next. I've sat watching warmed food go cold because the person who took it out went back to the till to serve a new customer instead of walking three steps to hand it over first. I've been charged for syrups I didn't want, and charged for ones I didn't get. I've had drinks go cold waiting for food. The drive thru is unusable if there's more than one customer in the store because they can't deal with both. After the latest experience, I'm not going to cut the any more slack for being new.
