A wonderful and thriving coffee shop, always busy from dawn till dusk, with lots of tables there’s ale seats available though. Dog friendly which is a huge plus for me, they even do a doggie Frappuccino to keep your four legged friends tail wagging. The perfect spot to relax alone or meet up with friends. I recommend you bring an appetite as the food is delicious. And the deserts are to die for. Finally there is ample parking, just avoid school leaving time as spaces are hogged by parents collecting children from the nearby school and play school.

Lovely place with excellent ethos. Changes cafe has a great app called Zero Wasters above it and is attached to a fab charity shop of the same name all trying to promote change in approach to reuse of items and careful sourcing of ingredients. Will be going again regularly I hope

Tried this today for the first time, 100% positive experience They even have a children’s activity table with crafts, for the young ones. I would definitely recommend a visit, see for yourself! Will be returning very soon šŸ«¶šŸ½

April '23 I'm starting to agree with the recent one star review in fact, I'm actually thinking of giving the cafe a miss once the loyalty voucher is redeemed. The staff are pleasant enough apart from the older lady who despite my having been a regular for a couple of years, struggles to say hello and smile. Today's toasted teacake was rock hard, the sandwiches/paninis and rolls are unpriced so you never know what the eventual bill is. Sorry for having a right old moan but I do feel this cafe has a couple of issues. August '23 I would like to say that following my first post, there's been a real improvement. The toasted cheese & mushroom sandwich was delicious, they've introduced sandwiches made to order and there was a warm welcome from the staff. I met up with a friend and we're sure to...

My husband and I visited here for the first time today around 1:30pm lunchtime as we thought it would be a nice little place to pop in for a panini and hot drink. We were not greeted by the unfriendliest young lady behind the counter with an almighty scowl. Her rude attitude screamed that she didn't want to be there or didn't wish to serve us and she certainly didn't have any customer service skills. Unfortunately, as she was the only interaction we had with any staff there, it left a bad taste in our mouths and we turned right around and left. They obviously don't need the business. We won't be returning. Such a shame, as Lantern House, which is a few doors down has been one of the family favourite takeaways for years and they seem...

Although we have been here many times, today was a disappointment. We ordered and paid for food and hot drinks then sat down to wait as requested.

The food was brought out but we had to ask for cutlery as there was none displayed, and we were halfway through our food but no drinks . After 20 minutes we asked for our drinks in a polite manner and were given a filthy look by the girl behind the counter who tried to say we hadn't ordered any.

When they eventually came we had finished our food so it was a bit pointless really.

Mistakes happen but to be treated in such a manner was...
