The Three Horseshoes — Restaurant in Birmingham

Went for a family meal and it was absolutely vile. We'd booked a table for 6 which hadn't been reserved for us but we managed to grab a table large enough that had just been vacated. We ordered food via the app but 3 of the options we paid for weren't actually available so we had to choose alternatives pretty quickly. The table was covered with the previous occupants plates and although they were cleared away eventually the table wasn't wiped down or cleaned before our food was served. We ordered a sausage with mash, sausage with chips, chilli burger, kids burger with beans, lasagne with salad and an Italian chicken. The sausages were OK, the mash was dried out, stodgy and must have been cooked days before. The gravy was thick, salty and cold. The Kids burger bun was rock solid and stale, the beans were cold and congealed. Most of the chips were still potatoes with the odd cooked one thrown in. The lasagne had a decent cheese topping but the meat was watery and tasted like tinned tomatoes. The salad consisted of some sliced pepper and onions that was drowned in a watery, vinegar dressing. The Italian chicken was overcooked, dry and topped with tinned tomatoes. The chilli burger was sloppy, soggy and resulted in an evening spent on the loo. We also ordered a pint of carling which was fine and a vodka coke which was flat. After spending £65 we were extremely disappointed and wasn't going to risk ordering dessert, we bought ice cream from the local shop on the way home instead. The only redeeming quality was the member of staff that served us was at least polite, friendly and resolved issues quickly. However I wouldn't send my worst enemy...

Woman behind a bar, unpleasant welcome, no smile, Moody. Just like majority of staff here. (Tuesday 16th october 2018) 13.20pm) group of around 10 loud girls in the restaurant...with children running around in school hours. Customers were putting they're fingers over there ears. Woman behind the bar made a few sarcy comments to customers about the girls but didn't directly do anything about it. Waited nearly an hour for a kids chicken nuggets and a side of friend chicken and cheesy chips. No apology for wait. Terrible service from the same woman behind the bar who also served our food. My cheesy chips came out 5 minutes later... 3 burned small peices of chicken. Never again. Came here a few weeks ago aswell for breakfast ...no mushrooms on plate...because they had non...wasn't made aware until I realised what was missing on my plate. Also told they don't do poached eggs even tho I had them here previously 2...

Was sadly disappointed when attending here today, I left even hungrier than I did when I arrived. My son ordered pizza and chips, which when it arrived was missing the chips , my nephew had the smallest piece of chicken I have ever seen in my life, my wife had the most watery horrible looking Gravy I've ever seen which made her feel ill. My sister ordered a steak cooked medium rare and when it arrived was very well done, my meal was so small I thought they had sent me someone's starter by mistake And I don't know how but then managed to burn a microwave chocolate fudge cake. The worse food I've ever tasted in a pub in my life, when we spoke to the manager (daniel) he had a very cocky attitude and gave us the most ridiculous excuses for everything we complained about. The highlight of this experience was knowing the k.f.c was open next door. Never again will I eat here or and other sizzling...
