I normally have no issues at this Mcdonalds, i use it all the time but today i was not impressed by the service. I used the rewards points section of the app to order whwn i can and i have checked several times if a single mcmuffin has been added which it hasnt so i did what i always do and order a double and minus 1 sausage in the customize section. When i got to the window the women informed me that i had taken off all the sausage, to which i replied with no it should just be the one. She told me no you cant do that you either have both or none. This confused me as ive never had issues before and the app gives me the option of having 1. So i replied that i didnt want both just one. She then told me why didnt i just order a single, i told her that i use the rewards points and they dont do a single for points. She very rudely told me that they do and that it is one of there promotional items, i then went back on the app to double check whilst still at the window and it wasnt there, so i told her this but she still told me that it was (as i was staring at the app scrolling through the items).
I get that it was early in the morning and maybe she had just started work but i was coming back off a night shift and frankly i really did not appreciate basically being called a liar. I did check my recipt when i got home and it does in fact say "remove 1 sausage" underneath the mcmuffin. So i dont know where that women was getting her menu knowledge from... But its the...

I had a disappointing experience during a recent visit to the McDonald’s in Braunstone Town, Leicester.
Despite selecting table service, my order was not delivered to the table. I waited for quite a while, expecting it to arrive, but eventually had to go up to the counter and collect it myself. There was no communication or apology from the staff, which made the service feel careless and disorganised.
To add to the poor experience, the fries were extremely oily and soggy, making them quite unpleasant to eat. They seemed like they had been sitting around for a while or cooked in oil that needed changing.
The condition of the dining area was also unacceptable. Tables and seats were not cleaned properly — there was visible food waste, spilled ketchup, and general mess left behind. It didn’t look like the area had been wiped down in some time, which made the whole atmosphere feel unhygienic and uninviting.
Overall, this visit was far below the standard I expect from McDonald’s. I hope the management takes action to improve cleanliness, food quality, and basic service, especially when customers choose options like...

Often food is cold, under or over cooked and most often missing items. I’ve waited over two hours for Uber to collect and deliver on three occasions. And I’ve very rarely been offered a refund or some kind of compensation. When my teen son entered once with three friends he was mistaken for a different group of boys and yelled at by a member of staff to get out. He was 12 at the time and is a socially anxious child so he was very shaken and upset by this. However saying that there was a older female staff employee I witnessed last week deal with a group of unruly teenagers. She dealt with the matter very calmly and spoke to the kids rather than down to them and they apologized for their behavior. She showed concern for them not having jackets and said they could wait inside even though wasn’t purchasing food until they was collect by their parents.
