Thai Siam Restaurant — Restaurant in Mid Sussex

I ordered a pad thai and vegetables in batter. This meal was terrible and tasteless. They seem to think if you put sugar in everything people will be satisfied. This a lazy excuse for not being able to cook food with flavour or variety. When I told them this sticky tasteless goo! They call a meal wasn't edible. They refused to refund me, but did give me some fried vegetables, which was just about ok. The vegetables in batter were greasy and tasteless. The king prawn in batter, looked like it came from a frozen ready-made packet and just thrown in a deep fryer. Nither of us finished our meal. After spending £42.00 i feel totally unhappy and dissatisfied withis experience. I woke the next morning after feeling somewhat poisoned and not feeling good, you that feeling that you get when you know you ate something dodgy! Visited last week with my bf. It was quite late and they still served us even though we spent a long time thinking what to eat. I am coeliac and was very surprised as they have a gluten free menu(not that maaaany options, but definitely worth it, and they are working on making a more extense GF/dairy free menu) they were very careful with my food and the service was just perfect. Really nice staff, we loved the food as well. Totally recommend....

Very nice place, I wasn't expecting to be this nice since its a bit far away from everything, but the food was delicious, we had some spicy soup and for main yellow curry chicken with rice (I forgot to take a picture). The meal was delicious, the prices are good and the service is great the ladies working there are super friendly people.
