Savannah Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Mid Sussex

After waiting the initial 30mins for our food we were told that they had run out of what we had ordered! The staff member then took our new order which came out a further 10mins into our ordeal.

The food that arrived was remotely average and tasted as if it had come from a packet or the freezer. When asked what sauce we would like I ordered bbq but I actually recieved HP brown sauce! Which upon putting on my burger was to late to remove and ruined the taste of the meal even more.

I raised these issues to two members of staff who did nothing to apologise for the mess up or offer any sort of compensation. For the price they are charging the service we recieved was appalling and I would advise anyone who was thinking of eating here to avoid Savannah...

Good evening. Nice wine with savannah card get £6 off a bottle of wine. Service was a stretch even when only people in the bar. Only after a few hours outside we were offered the table cleaning up, despite nobody even at the bar at all. Not saying we should be treated over the top but basic customer service would be great 👍 Also refused to change the music to something more suitable and enjoyable but "because it's a monday night it's not possible" riiiiight. Could have at least been more supportive of customer views....

Reserved it for 9 people on my birthday way in advance. Got a table for 6, half covered, half in the rain. Staff wasn't very helpful and when I asked for another table they said it wasn't possible. I had to suggest them bringing an empty table that was in the corner and the person reacted as if it was a big burden.
