What a shame for a restaurant to decline as much as it has. We used to consider the Antep as our "Go to Restaurant". Alas after this evenings experience that is no longer the case. While the staff "tried" to give a service they just did not have the old wow factor. All the Old faces seem to have gone. Those on duty did not appear to have any pride in thier appearance. Gone were the crisp shirts and black trousers. 2 day old shirts and jeans seems to be the dress code now. Moving onto the food... While the starters were "OK" the main course was very disappointing. We had the Sharing Platter for two. This we had before and realy enjoyed it. So we knew what we were ordering. Or so we thought. Tonight the meats were very dry. The presentation was nothing like before. ( No peppers or tomatoes) . The majority of the meat was just chicken wings. Very disappointing. Then came the Bill. We appreciate that costs have gone up but tonight just was not the same value for money. Much less for a great deal more. Then there was the overall ambience of the restaurant. At first we both thought it was just us that thought the lights had been turned down. Then we saw two other couples actually using the torch on thier phones to read the menu & Bill. Realy? So it was not just us. So much so we really couldn't see the food on our plates Why? Perhaps the icing on the cake was as we left. No one said good bye thanks for coming. Nothing !!! As a final nail in the coffin as we went to walk down the steps out side the tiles were cracked and falling away and the hand rail was wobbing from side to side. Helloooo Health & Safty !!!

All in all not the Old Antep we had come to know and love. A great shame. Far from the 5...

Our booking was only 15 minutes late, not too bad , unusual for a pre booked table but we were looking forward to the food after all of the influencers reviews which were thick and fast on several social media channels, this place had a lot to live up to after the Antep Legacy. On entry it was clear it was massively over booked with insufficient staffing levels.

The team were quick with our drinks orders and did express there was a delay with food. Starters took about 45 mins, arrived before bread the bread and our table was half laid on sitting. The starters were good.

The staff were running around like crazy so you had to sympathise with them, but the manager was nowhere to be seen, which was really poor especially for staff morale, a couple of the staff were clearly stressed and upset which wasn’t nice, having worked in hospitality I would expect more supervision and support. Only 1 guy was seemingly able to take orders.

We decided to get our bill after our starters on hearing our 2 neighbour tables had been waiting for mains over 90 mins after heir starters. The waiter was unapologetic and quite brusque, he actually asked how long we had been waiting and told us he said there would be a wait. On balance we didn’t wany to wait any longer and after he kept sending bread to one of the tables, he must have been aware of the delays in service.

On leaving a large table next to us was complaining on the wait which was unreasonable and that they had been waiting without any drinks service for over an hour.

Hope the Manager who was formerly GM at SoHo house starts bringing some customer service to this Wolverton Stalwart or it won’t last long which...

I heard such a great things about this place, I was excited to go. However, my first impressions and visit wasn't great. Booking a table at 6pm on a Friday, I thought it would allow enough time to sit, enjoy and eat.

From when we were shown to our table, everything felt rushed and pushy. We ordered drinks and before two of our other guest arrived they wanted us to place our food order. Once our guests came, we placed orders. When the bread arrived, it was lovely but again we hadn't finished eating it when our main meals were started to be brought out. They couldn't wait to clear the table before we had finished the bread/ starter.

While eating, it felt uncomfortable as the serves just kept pacing, walking up and down checking if we had finished. One of our guests, had gone to the toilet and they wanted to clear her plate as they thought she has had finished. Not only were we were still eating, she hadn't finished.

We hadn't even been there an hour and it just felt that we were being pushed to hurry up and leave. The whole thing really put me off. I understand it gets busy and it was payday Friday, but that isn't an excuse. Feeling rushed (as there was a queue at the door and bar area), is never a nice feeling.

I can't knock the food as it was lovely, but the overall service I can't say I was a fan. I left feeling slightly annoyed and not with a good impression.

I love Turkish food, however I am in no rush to head back. Whether a restaurant is busy or not, or over booked tables, customers should never feel rush.

Rated 3 stars, as food was lovely, decor and...

I recently had the pleasure to have a lunch at Palm Restaurant and was excited to try their offerings. I opted for the halloumi and prawns in red sauce, a combination I hadn’t encountered before. The dish was a delightful surprise, perfectly cooked prawns paired with the savory richness of halloumi, all enveloped in a flavorful red sauce that brought everything together beautifully. It was a unique pairing that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something different. Additionally, I tried the grilled octopus, which was expertly prepared. The octopus was tender and packed with flavor, providing a satisfying texture with each bite. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in using fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation techniques. The Palm restaurant's burger is also a delightful surprise juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely worth trying for any burger lover! The restaurant’s decor deserves a mention as well. The ambiance is modern and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a meal with friends or a date night. It’s definitely Instagram-worthy, with stylish design elements that make for great photos. Overall, my experience at Palm Restaurant was wonderful. The innovative menu and chic atmosphere made for a memorable evening. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes!

Came here on a mid-week day (party of 2) and it was still busy (probably due to the food being amazing here) Never had a bad meal over the last few years of coming. Service is always brilliant, staff very, very attentive - the waitress noticed I had fries and brought over the ketchup without being asked, another waiter noticed my napkin had been used..this was replaced without being asked..these little things make all the difference. Anyway, we both ordered the Chicken Shish, I had fries with mine replacing the rice and was also served their delicious puffed up dome bread and dips whilst we waited. Food portions are huge here, which arrived promptly, piping hot and as tasty as always. The restaurant is bigger inside than it looks from the street, with lovely ambient lighting and a bar area and they also offer a takeaway option. We managed to park next door in the library carpark, which is always a bonus, when spaces are available. There are other parking options nearby, so no big deal. After our meal, we were served complimentary Turkish tea and a piece of Turkish delight each to finish off..all in all a really nice evening. The food was delicious, service polite and friendly and the surroundings warm and inviting. Highly recommend this place!

My parents took us out for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. My boyfriend and daughter have been there a couple of times, since the new management took over. We often go to Olive Tree in central MK but found the restaurant is a bit too loud. The atmosphere on one side of the restaurant was lively but we were seated on the quieter side which we were very grateful for. We had a few starters to share, Lamb liver, Calamari (4 rings for that price, portion needs to be bigger) Sauted octopus and Meze Trio. It was very tasty and fresh. Staff were always there doing check backs on us, making sure we were ok. Then Chicken Wings (my favourite, so flavoursome), Lamb Shish and Mixed Kebab, accompanied with salad, rice and cous cous. I can't fault the food, everything was very tasty. I think my Dad paid £220 inc. tips for the 5 of us. The service was fantastic and some complimentary Turkish delights (not to our liking a bit powering but my mum loves them 😉) accompanying the bill. My advice is if you want to go there, book in advance just in case they're quite busy even during the week
