This is for their Newport Pagnell restaurant.

A friend suggested this restaurant for lunch as she'd had a great meal at their pre-launch. So we were there expecting a good meal but ended up the experiencing the complete opposite.

I ordered a pizza which came out just warm with the cheese wasn't even melty. My friend ordered tortellini in mushroom sauce which was the same thing she'd ordered the first time she was there but surprisingly it came out very different in a sauce with chicken in it. We spoke to the waitress who took the food back to the kitchen, mine was put in the oven to reheat and her's to, I guess, remake. However, as expected when a pizza got reheated, it would get dry, that's exactly what happened, I told the waitress about it but I was very hungry so I just ate it anyway.

My friend's tortellini came out as if like they just scraped the sauce off and stirred in some cream and added some spinach, it still wasn't the same as what she had before, she had to send it back again. The waitress had to ask her what the sauce was like before and then talked to the chef and third time lucky they finally got it right.

To pay, we went to the till after a long wait. We told the waiter as he asked how the meal was, he actually felt bad about it and went to speak to the manager. Apparently, he tried to take the drinks off our bill - 2 cokes - but the manager refused. We didn't care, wanted to get out of there asap after all the waiting, we tried to pay by card and that's when he said their card machines weren't working and had to pay cash, like most of the people these days we didn't carry cash. At that point we had to speak to the manager.

Before he came over to speak to us he decided to tell the waitress to take the pizza off the bill. He came over without apologising for the food or payment problems he just said they had signs around and basically not their fault for not mentioning when we were seated. Luckily the cash machine was just across the road. The manager as well as the owner, who was sitting at one of the tables, definitely had no clue how to keep their customers. I felt sorry for the waitress and waiter who tried hard when management could...

A group of 4 guys from London, we had no reservations but we turned up and felt very welcomed.. there was plenty of nice fresh excellent seats and tables to choose from, and did not realise that this place was pretty big and had a bar inside too.. choice of drinks was excellent and we'll priced..

We all sat for a late meal, and ordered delicious grilled prawns intact with shells.. prawns with no shells cooked in a lovely sauce and calamari, and dam there were out this world we even order more prawns as they were soooo tasty...

For mains we had Sea bass, sea bass fillets, salmon and a lamb on skewer that was marinated and was very tasty and tender.. they all came with something too, spinach ect.. we also ordered a bowl of salad ( tomatoes are juicy) we also order fresh bread to dip into the prawns sauce....

The drink selection was outstanding the wines they had were excellent and FAR better then other restaurants..

When it came to desserts we was so full from the food so we ordered 2 desserts to share and they were both home made and very tasty..

This place is by far one one of the best restaurants around the food is out standing, service is second to none and kitchen guys are most probably one of the best around...

I will definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants to enjoy great food and drinks and not forgetting great service too...

I would rate this place a 10 star if there was a 10 star overall rating outstanding, will be back soon... 10 star all the way thanks for a lovely...

So I've been looking foward to trying here for a while now, in all honesty there are some great pros which would go to a 4 star but the negatives let the place down.

Firstly the service was hit and miss, the small male waiter was exceptional and a credit to the venue, however the small older lady was hard to understand and a little cold, she got our order wrong, giving us a main for a starter and also charges us for it, some of the other items where forgotten aswell. There was no check with the mains to see if they were OK and it took ages to get the bill.

The drinks were amazing and good for value (2 cocktails for £10). Apart from the popcorn cocktail which tasted nice but was very small and not vaulue for money. The long island iced tea and pina collarda were lush.

The food, calamari rings were chewy, stale and tasteless, chicken wings were good and the other starter was missed due to waitress error. Mains, lasagne was great, my risotto was pretty tastless and not enough different mushrooms.

We didn't have dessert, bill was £150 for four people which seems expensive for what you actually get.

I do think with a few minor changes it would score much higher, but on this occasion...

A lovely little Italian restaurant full of charm. The food here was really nice. It's a shame the service didn't match. My fiance and I both had a starter and a pizza for main. The pizzas were fresh and plenty large enough that one between the two of us could have done leaving room for dessert. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've had in Milton Keynes. Service wasn't intentionally bad. All staff were extremely friendly, it's just dishes were prepared wrong. My pizza was missing a topping and I saw another 2 tables with wrong orders. Things were put right as quickly as possible. I just think a little more care when taking the orders would help. I would happily eat here again.

Really glad to see restaurants like this in the Milton Keynes area, as usually it's just all chain restaurants. A great menu with a selection that will take time to get through, as everything sounds delicious and it's hard to decide! The Parma pizza was incredible and exactly what I was looking for, probably the best pizza I've had in Milton Keynes. So nice to have a proper nice and authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere inside was lovely, with a great view of the incredible pizza oven. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and made us feel at home! I'm really looking forward to my next visit, which will definitely be soon

I had high hopes given the high rating, however was sadly disappointed! The restaurant gets very busy on a Friday night so make sure you book, and owing to the crowd it also gets extremely loud. I struggled having a decent conversation without raising my voice. The pizzas were decent, other than that the food was very mediocre. I was hoping for an authentic Italian experience but was let down. The risotto within the arancini balls was paste-like and gloopy. The “homemade” bread used for the crostini was doughy and the topping was not at all exciting. The prices don’t match well with the quality of the food unfortunately.
