Peri Peri Original Wolverton — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Avoid this Peri Peri, I’ll tell you why. We ordered our food 5/10 mins before arriving.

The front door was propped open with a chair, so we had to enjoy the Artic chill coming from outside throughout our time here.

We queued to pay and found that we couldn’t split the bill. Why, I don’t know.

3 guys were sat down, 2 of 3 were already eating. The third guy was still waiting for his, and they even brought more food out for one of the others and told the other guy he’d have to wait a little longer, as they didn’t have the piece of chicken he ordered.

The guy in front of us in the queue got his food before us.

40 minutes later we got our food.

We still had to endure the cold while we ate, and got told something wasn’t working or they were having some work done, that’s why they had to keep the front door open.

We’ve been here 2/3 times before and they take forever to make your food, there’s nothing fast about it. The food is decent quality and the seating area is clean, you just need to have an hour to hang around from the point of ordering to leaving. Food = 4,...

When this establishment first opened back in 2012/13 I didn't really think they made particularly good peri peri or any other fast food items particularly well (I tried it on a few occasions but was always disappointed). Baring in mind I've been to their flagship branch in leagrave road in Luton, this wolverton branch fares very poorly in contrast to the Luton branch. It was extremely rare that I would bring my custom to them and they are always empty whenever I would drive or walk past (I live in wolverton) so I'm pretty sure I'm not alone giving this fast food outfit a poor rating. I don't know how many times the establishment has changed hands but up until recently (October 2023) it has been acquired by new owners and a new team who have given the interior a complete refresh. I've tried the peri peri as well as other items on their menu and can safely say it's just as good if not now better than their branch on leagrave road Luton. Superb fast food and friendly staff. I come here most weekends with my wife and daughter They asked me to leave a review today.

We really enjoy the food. We prefer sitting in because it is quiet and clean. We get mild because it isn't too spicy then.

Best shop of it's kind in mk I think. Everything is really tasty. Eat in or takeaway - you won't regret it!!

15/6/25 Started coming here every Sunday after my daughter's swimming lesson. Food is excellent. I didn't realise Google doesn't let you post a new review for somewhere previously reviewed so just writing more positive feedback.

The place is clean. The food is good. If you eat in it's usually quiet. Food is an excellent standard. Menu has an option for all likes.
