I had visited this Starbucks previously before and found their service to be outstanding and polite but how that's changed.
Brought the wife here as we was shopping on the retail park. Last time I had visited here it was 8am in the morning, think this place is better then. We visited here about half 1 in afternoon. Seating area was packed and you would be lucky to find a seat. We waiting about 10 minutes and manage to get one. Average sort of queue to order for Starbucks and the girl on till was helpful. I explained to her I had a free drink with my vitiality but when it came to scanning as usual she didn't click the right button and ended up taking the money of my balance. So then we ended up cancelling and redoing.
Then the most appalling part. As your see from my pictures no queue to pay but about a 20 minute wait for coffee. My wives coffee was first up and let me tell you it was disgusting. You would think with all the staff this place has and them noticing how busy it is they would put more staff on to make the drinks but it seems the staff of this place are more interested in the drive thru. So I returned my wives coffee and ask for another to be made (was just frothy milk no coffee taste). Mine was next up but was ok. The queue just got bigger and bigger and to be honest if your in a rush I would say avoid here. Alot of people moaning as was just taking too long. So lack of seats, staff more interested in drive thru, dirty tables and long waits. Would say avoid and go...
Read moreI go here every single morning on the way to drop my oh to work but tbh the attitude of the night/early morning staff at 5am has put me off going here again. Every single time we pull up to the little tannoy we are greeted with a monotone "starbucks drive through" come over the tannoy like the guys mum just forced him out of bed and he doesn't wanna work. No energy, no manners and no consideration that this is probably the first interaction people will have with anybody for the day. Its not hard at all to start the interaction with a "good morning" a "hello" or atleast the minimum " hi" before the company driven "starbucks drive through. Some form of positivity anywhere in the transaction would go a long way.
But this is just the icing on the cake, he normally drills through the order in the same monotone drone he started the transaction with, usually talking over you or not waiting for you to finish talking before "anything else" spills forth across the tanoy. Then when you finally come to get your cup of coffee he just holds out the card reader no mention of the amount for the transaction expecting me to just know how much I'm being charged. And then we recieve our sleeveless cups. I wouldn't mind this so much on mine but my oh has hers extra hot so this should be a given.

Read moreOne of your employees was incredibly rude to me at the Starbucks drive through in Milton Keynes by Taco Bell, myself and my friend who is currently on crutches got out of our car to move some cans that were in the drive through onto the side so a car didn't go over them, at which point an employee came over the drive through speaker and told me how ridiculous I was, how disgusting I was and how littering is a horrible thing to do. I explained that I was just moving them before we left so a car didn't go over them and that I was trying to be helpful but he then started fake crying at me about killing the planet and saying I was an awful person. I then went in and everyone in there was laughing at me both before entering, during my conversation with them and after when I was leaving. At no point did this employee apologise or show remorse and actively mocked me throughout. I am currently trying to find the employees name because this has left me absolutely enraged. This is disgusting customer service. This has been passed on to higher ups and the manager at the establishment.
Edit: the manager was absolutely wonderful with the complaint, she listened, handled it with care and was nothing but kind,...
