Greggs — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Incredibly rude staff, I ordered a tea and the milk had run low in the jug so I took it to the staff asking them to refill the jug I was expecting them to refill and give it back to me but instead it didn’t come back for another 20 minutes… I went to the front and asked the lady at the counter politely but instead she looked at me ignored me and called for the next person. After waiting for the next person to be served I tried again and to no surprise I was ignored so I had to go round the side and call out to the other staff requesting the milk. I asked politely and mentioned I need to leave as my break was over and I just wanted some milk for my tea I mentioned I had been waiting and a man possibly Ryan? looked at me, shouted at me telling me I can see they’re ‘clearly busy’. All of the customers inside Greggs heard him shout at me, it was demeaning, embarrassing, unprofessional 4 of my colleagues also witnessed. What a horrible hostile environment for customers for your staff to shout at customers loud enough other customers hear a few bystanders even said how it’s common for them to be like this and that they are horrid which made me feel better...

Got shouted at because we were in the wrong area, instead of a polite could you stand on the other side and employee Aimee shouted “can you move to the other side” when me and the group are not from milton keynes and there is clearly no sign about where there is a queue, also she said to her colleague “shout next please because they clearly can’t use their eyes” when infact our group was looking at what to get. She also called us “incompetent” and “trashy” because we are teenagers when infact we are all in university. All my other greggs experiences have been great but this one really was something upsetting. We also know what is like to work in fast food as some people in our group work in a very known fast food restaurant and we all know how to deliver friendly service even when in a bad mood, which may be something she needs...

Typical Greggs with standard menu, so certainly not the best coffee in the world but quite drinkable. Friendly, helpful staff.

Can be busy at peak times but if you time your visit carefully, a breakfast bacon roll & coffee for £2.95 is still a great price.

The recent refresh gives easier access at the cost of the internal seating - no problem in the summer, but is missed on wet and cold days. But I guess that's their business model: they want you served quickly and...
