Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Mole Valley

Usually a nice place to stop by and grab a quick coffee or relax with some friends. However today was a little different. Staff on the till were virtually silent, rude and obnoxious. More concerned about finishing their conversation around personal matters instead of engaging on any level with myself or my girlfriend. When we repeated our order 3 times the woman on the till realised she had forgotten something and understood why we repeated our selves, she them let out a sigh and rolled her eyea, point at the item we had asked before, waiting for us to respond.

When our hot food was delivered to our table, there was no confirmation of table, right customer or correct food. Just another sigh and plonk of a plate down on to our table.

I found all staff on this day to be completely insufferable and I think they all need a reality check on...

Shocking ... Dorking branch the worst I've ever been in by far. Ridiculous queues, the chap taking orders needed to be told more than five times what the order was (there were 2 of us) and the barista shouted at my husband for querying the order - he was right to as had ordered a latte and got a cappuccino, and my soya hot chocolate was probably milk as I felt sick almost instantly and had to leave it ... What a waste of money and a horrible experience - will not use that branch again. Zero stars if that had...

Lovely coffee shop with great view of the Dorking high-street. I regularly get drinks here from salted caramel frappes to English teas! Very family friendly as there’s a lift for push chairs/ wheel chairs so is easily accessible) with dogs welcome too. Staff are extremely friendly, always welcoming and homely. Easy and safe space to be in and know I’ll always get the service I want/need :)...
