Petrony's Pizza — Restaurant in New Forest

We travel from Winchester for this pizza, it’s our favourite but not being local means we only have their pizza 2/3 times a year. Today was my birthday so we decided to drive up, get some pizzas and take them down to eling to eat. We ordered 2 smalls as it’s just myself and my partner, we asked for deep dish as that’s what we always have.

When we received the pizzas they where different to the ones we usually get, disappointed I called an said they’re not what I was expecting, a lovely lady I spoke to on the phone said the small pizzas aren’t deep dish, this should have been clarified when we asked over the phone (some staff training may be needed) anyway, the lovely lady I spoke with on the phone said to come down and she would do us a medium deep dish! By far the best independent pizza outlet in Hampshire, the if not further a field. The pizzas are square!!!!! Having been established over 20 years ago this family run shop has never had a need to expand due to its continuous loyalty from customers far and wide. The menu has not had any amendments due to its popularity and I have been having a meat feast for the last 20 years due to how delicious it is. Best pizza, best takeaway, best value. We love the toppings right to the edge and the crispy base and edges (I cant handle a deep pan but love the crunchy corners). Been coming here for 15 years and far better than other locals/chains. We now drive from Romsey to get our fix since we moved away from Totton! Keep it up guys! Twisted sticks could be fully loaded with more garlic is my only tiny criticism and might just be our taste as we ask for extra every time - but love them and the pizza every time...
