My mum and I visited tonight, and I must say the staff were fantastic from start to finish. The service was excellent, and we felt really well looked after. While my mum’s main dish was nice and I thoroughly enjoyed my duck starter, unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t meet our expectations.

My main dish was overly salty, which I mentioned to the waitress when our table was cleared. She was very apologetic and assured me she would pass the feedback on to the chef, which I appreciated. The chef even sent their apologies, which was a thoughtful gesture.

While the service was truly excellent, we left feeling a bit disappointed with the food overall. It’s possible we caught them on an off night, as there was a large party being served while we were there. We might stick to our favourite takeaway next time for a more consistent experience. My family and I have been going here as our exclusive Chinese restaurant for 20+ years. In that timeframe the quality has remained superb. If you can I'd recommend the in house dining experience as the staff are always very welcoming and attentive (even when we used to dine in festive periods!).

The takeaway (we order and collect regularly) food quality is certainly on par with the dine-in experience. However, just be careful not to let it go cold!
