Attended for Tipple in the Tunnel. Wine tasting in the Victoria Tunnel. It was fantastic. The staff from the Tunnel and the Hotel were amazing!
Brooke and Luke, are friendly, helpful and entertained us during wine tasting.
Fantastic experience. Highly recommend this experience!
The same evening, we went back to the Hotel bar and stayed a while speaking to staff and hearing more about wine, the hotel services, and the menu! The team went above and beyond for us. Especially Jack and Roshan - brilliant evening and for our first visit it won't be our last.
We attended a week later for the taster menu which was 5 courses, including 5 different paired wines. Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, and knowledgeable about the different wines. The staff were amazing with us as one of us has allergies. They put us at ease and made it an enjoyable experience. Thank you Iryna.
Definitley a place we will frequent more often. Lovely team, friendly, professional and they made all 3 areas of our...

The main meals which where fish and steak dishes where okay but nothing to get excited about...
Desserts where Profiteroles and a cheese board which yet again was nothing to get excited about..
I have stayed and dined at this place many times and I understand with Covid that hotels and bistros are finding their feet again but after last night's meal I don't think I would dine there again .....
Just a side note breakfast was spot on no...

Prawns to start and the Black Forest moose to finish were both fabulous although the supplement for the prawns wasn’t clearly indicated. Unfortunately the main course was average at best, the Normandy chicken turned out to be a standard chicken breast with a few French fires, a meal anyone could easily cook at home for a lot less. This significantly let down a promising starter and excellent dessert in an Enjoyable and...
