Sorry to say service was really bad tonight . In my mind without any reason after 20 mins of sitting waiting on our order "manager"came over to say he was sorry but he could not serve us ......really!!!said he thought we had drank too much...we had no crossed words ,we were not loud abusive or disruptive!!!... think it was more about them getting home early on an easter sunday than me and my friends being too drunk to serve.....was not the case Good Friday when went there after 'bongo bingo' with friends , to be fair in a far worse state than when we were there tonight, staff more than happy to serve us....v disappointed tonight as one of my favourite gin bars but no more ..plenty of other places in town serve gin , no need to ever go there again...and...

Called about 6ish on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed a table outside. Unfortunately we didn’t manage a cocktail and not a great experience. My friend went inside to order. There was only one occupied table inside and three members of staff serving. But she was ignored for a good few minutes. Then not greeted in a friendly manner by the guy, she felt like an intrusion. One of us wanted a Bloody Mary which is on the menu. They said they were out of Bloody Mary’s (it’s a cocktail bar !!!!!). Because of this and the less than friendly service, we left. Went to WC and PTMY. An entirely different experience. Very friendly staff and good service with gorgeous cocktails. Looking at previous reviews that seem good, maybe we hit them...

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately was left feeling disappointed. The restaurant decor is gorgeous, and there is a lovely atmosphere, which is perfect for drinks. The food, however, is hit and miss. We went for restaurant week, so can't speak for the regular menu, however some of the issues I faced can't be excused by a cheap deal. To start off with, my starter was cold. Although the chef did apologise and gave me something whilst I waited, the alternative wasn't great either. My main was average and dessert, whilst pretty, wasn't well executed with chewy and almost raw pastry. The waiter, whilst perfectly pleasant, had zero charisma and overall I was left feeling like it should have been great,...

Previous reviews read, we walked to Café Mercy on a Sunday lunch time for some cocktails. A friendly greeting by the bar person and two free glasses of water were brought to the table. We were informed that it had been a busy weekend so the small plates (food option) were limited. The bar person created four incredible cocktails. One not on the menu. The ambience was lovely, vinyl records playing in the background, the bar person was great and we had amazing cocktails. Would highly recommend a visit.

Now a new venture opens as Café Mercy a nice little cocktail bar great service very helpful and friendly staff. The Decor has been thoroughly changed, all cream and pink definitely for the ladies but don't let that stop you visiting as It's the sort of place where you can't help but make new friends. A good atmosphere good music I would definitely recommend it for a change of pace if you're in town

THE BEST bar. Wonderfully skilled, friendly, and passionate staff. Without exaggeration, they have made us the best cocktails, both on and off the menu, and they are the reason why we go here. We'll miss this place, but we'll come back whenever there's a chance for it. Everyone is great, but giving extra credit to James and Iona, who made our visits great every single time. Thank you💕
