We had dinner at the restaurant and we were very pleased and impressed with the venue itself, the food and the staff. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the waitress but she was lovely, friendly and chatty and deserves 10*. The food was good but I would say they are a bit on the pricy side. We had a few cocktails 🍹🍸 (you only have 2 choices here, you either go for the £10 ones or the £12 ones 😂) which were good and with a nice presentation. The dishes had a lovely presentation and was really good. The only issue I had was the chicken breast that I added to my salad 🥗 (salad which was delicious with a good combination of flavours and nice dressing). The chicken breast had way too much oregano 🌿 on it (or at least I believe it was oregano 🌿) and it made the breast to lose all its flavour and all I could taste was the bitterness of the seasoning. In the morning we had breakfast, eggs Benedict which were super and the veggie breakfast which was a bit of a disappointment, given the fact that you could pay £22 for one it is definitely at least double the price of what you actually get, but we had the continental breakfast which was good and fresh. All credit to Mel and Tirso who were lovely and very caring. Overall it was good and I must say the staff here are definitely some of the friendliest we ever meet.

Stopped here on the off chance that they would have a table before our train home and they did, it did not disappoint either! We had a drink in the bar while we waited for the restaurant to open, it was very quiet in there. Once the restaurant opened we were shown through to a lovely window table, the restaurant had a steady flow of people coming in (it was Easter Sunday). 3 Courses for £32.50 which was excellent value for money. You help yourself to the starters from the buffet and eat as much or little as you want. There is something for everyone from soup, to smoked salmon, prawn cocktail, meat selection. There was so much choice and was all very good quality. We both opted for the sirloin of beef with all the trimmings which was lovely. Although we didn't have room, we even squeezed in a dessert! Finished off with a creme egg to take home! Service brilliant, staff were all super friendly and very efficient. Would definitely go back!

Try the valentine’s special dishes with cocktails and lobster. The portions are generous and the meat is very fresh and tender. Especially the seafood is delicate and juicy. The sauce of shrimp and scallops for the starter is more Mexican, a little spicy and salty but not overpowering. The truffle fries are crunchy, without the truffle bits on the top but the truffle flavour incorporated into the fries. Dessert is toffee Creme pudding, which is a bit sweet but goes well with ice cream. A very filling and satisfying dinner. The waiters are very friendly and patience.

Absolutely terrible service waited 20 minutes for our drinks, food was average for an afternoon tea but lacked flavour in a lot of it, had to ask for plates and cutlery after afternoon tea was served and when finished waited 45 minutes to ask for the bill not a single staff member looked bothered all wondering around talking about going out after work or disappearing into the back not one member of staff checked on us the whole time we were there ended up actually walking out and didn’t even ask for the bill for the coffee we ordered outside of the afternoon tea that was already paid for won’t be returning also seen several other people waiting to leave but no staff...
