Absolutely shocking service. We pre booked afternoon tea and we had a person in our group of 3 with dietary requirements. You would expect that when there is a set menu the food would be prepared beforehand and that they would be ready for the dietary requirements. However it took us over 50 minutes to get our afternoon tea during which multiple people walked out as they hadn't been served in a timely manner. We only did not leave as we had already pre paid. The restaurant was not even busy and it was swarming with staff that looked like they had no clue what they were doing. Once we got our afternoon tea most items were stale, despite being told the wait was because it was being made fresh. We had afternoon tea for my nanas birthday. As soon as we went in I knew it wasn’t going to be great as we waited for 5 minutes at the desk until eventually I decided to walk through the restaurant to find someone to sit us. The woman was rude and abrupt. We asked to sit on a booth and it was a straight up no. It took 20 minutes for our glass of Prosecco to come over (we were the only table in there). The afternoon tea itself was awful we knew it had been made days before and put in the fridge. There was lots and lots of flies all around our table, annoying and very unhygienic. Food was excellent. Saturday lunch was a bit of a let down. Starter came before our drinks even arrived and had to ask chase the drinks.
