Today one decided I would like to indulge in some confectionery food within Newcastle. Upon entering there was a rather dangerous and intimidating collection of youths standing at the counter. We then waite a short while to be seated. To my finding it seems they do not have enough menus to distribute amongst customers unacceptable from such a known and respected Limited trading company. After beeing sat at a table I examined the surface to find scratches and physical dirt, I was sick to my stomach! For some reason they did not offer a table service meaning one had to walk to the counter. Upon arrival to the counter they again was a herd of youth accumulating around the one till for the whole restaurant. The staff member at the till seems rather friendly. But then they said they cannot print a recipet I need this for my legal record's. I am entitled to a recipet under UK law as it is a proof of the start of a legally binding contract between the consumer (me) and kaspas UK LTD. When I received my waffle after a 15 minute wait I was in shock. The waffle was raw on the inside whilst beein as hard as concrete on the outside. Then a fly emerged from the waffle absaloutley vile. I will never go again and don't recommend anyone else's unless you want...

Visited Kaspas midweek during the summer holidays as a birthday treat, it was very quiet may i add. I have to say I was very disappointed...to start off with the waitress which seated us made us feel like an inconvenience and wasn't welcoming at all. Upon being seated, I noticed the table was a little dirty and it is questionable whether they clean them after each use which as being a waitress myself and having completed my food hygiene course, this is something I pick up on in any restraunt. The cleanliness was just not up to scratch at all and I definitely had my doubts about the cutlery and whether they replace any "unused" ones after the previous customer has left. I then made the mistake of using the ladies toilets...not pleasant at all. There was a pungent smell of urine and unsightly marks up the toilet. The cleaning schedule had been signed at 14.00 and it was only 14.20 when I visited so I can only assume that they hadn't actually been cleaned. I will say however the 2 crepes we ordered were nice but the waitress just shoved them on the table with very little customer service skills. Read moreVisited this evening. Ordered two coffee’s and two desserts. We waited 10 minutes or so for coffees then after half an hour asked where the desserts were - to be told they had a broken plate further down in restaurant and they would be 5 minutes (plenty staff on to clean a spillage and serve, I’m sure). When the desserts came we both had a bite and they were stone cold. We immediately went to till to complain to be told they don’t refund and the desserts were made 5 minutes ago. I then proceeded to ask a staff member if they serve our desserts cold he said no they should be hot and he would get a supervisor. The supervisor’s response was the owners have told her she is not to give refunds (the. Maybe the owners should be present to see what their staff are serving and their awful customer service. She also said there is no head office and the number on the receipt was that restaurants. She then got someone else over who was the original one we complained to who said we had eaten our food and couldn’t do anything about our complaint and was quit threatening. Will NEVER be back.
