Great food by Zac the chef, even asked was he married lol but unfortunately he was. Great service by Ray and Rachel who was also polite, friendly and helpful. As was all the staff. Food was really, I had prescada blanco bobo wow how nice was it. Fish was lovely with nice crispy skin served on bed vegetables with lovely spicy sauce, not overly spicy though, should have been served with spring onion rice but I asked for extra vegetables instead which Zac was more than obliging. Clean and tidy restaurant, with extra seating down stairs and outside. The toilets were clean and tidy also although down stairs. It has wheelchair accessible entrance but never noticed accessible toilet. It is 5 mins walk from monument metro station and central station is also close by.,with good bus service close also. You could even park in one of many carparks in Newcastle but not free. Do great child's menu for £7 mains 2 sides pudding and drink. Would recommend you to family and friends and plan to return for with my grandson hi even if only for the coconut or mango sorbet. Although I would have liked to have tried the bahain chicken coconut curry, good excuse to return 😉 Still good food coming out from this restaurant lovely friendly staff will be back soon x

I have always wanted to try here for a while so i did via Just Eat! Arrived on time piping hot and superbly packaged! I went for the 5 tapas bundle meal deal wasnt sure what each thing was so i just ordered what sounded nice haha. My least favorite was the Brazilian Fried Chicken although it was juicy, tender and spicy the way i like it tbh it had no flavour, a bit boring tbh. The Brie and Mango Empanadas were nice, savory, tad sweet and cheesy mmm! Next was Albondigas to me was a really nice meatball dish, very homely and hearty flavour, really nice! My next fav was the Chicken Quesadilla, packed full of flavour.. chicken peppers and all sorts, the wrap it came in was soft and slightly charred.. very taaty indeed! My absolute favorite of all was the Fiesta Tapas.. what is that i hear you ask? Basically its a salad lol not just any salad tho this was stunning.. packed full of all sorts of flavours with watermellon and these little red pearls i have never seen before which are actually called Roquito Peppers which are sweet and spicy anyway im not normally a salad person but this i would highly recomend 👍😁👌

Had a birthday meal with a voucher here mid week relatively early, 5pm. Really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and we both had a great time. We had calamari and fried cheese cubes for starters, I had steak and my partner had a whole chicken. Yes a whole chicken to himself. The steak was perfectly cooked, for me - medium rare but the fat was rendered, the chicken was covered in a delicious sauce. It was the spiciest one on the menu, but it was not that spicy. The heat built over time but it was more like the spice of a aromatic curry. Either way, it was absolutely delicious and he ate the whole thing leaving a tiny collection of clean bones like the carrion bird that he is. It was also 2 for 1 on cocktails at that time so we ordered caipirinhas and of course they were delicious. We had a lovely evening, the staff were great, friendly and on top of things and helped make the experience feel non-pandemicy. Hand sanitiser was available in various places and I chose to still wear a mask as I moved around. Thanks for a great evening out. 😀

Bottomless brunch was an absolute disaster. There was a large group(13) of us, two people not partaking in the bottomless brunch. Firstly, the cocktails were brought over in jugs which were filled with so much water they tasted of nothing. After tasting them and deciding they were rubbish we tried to order something else and were told ‘you have to finish them before I get you something else’ which was odd, we never asked for jugs. Then we ordered food, one of the people not doing the bottomless brunch asked if they could order their food off the brunch menu as what they wanted wasn’t on the normal menu ‘yes sure’ the waitress said. When the food came a rude male waiter came over ‘you can’t have that you’re not doing the brunch’ so my friend said ‘your colleague said it was fine but I haven’t touched it so you can take it away if that’s the case’ to which he tutted and left leaving my friend really uncomfortable. During the brunch the same waiter made a rude comment ‘he had better not be drinking that’ to my friend referring to the other person not doing the brunch. He obviously wasn’t, the person he was referring to was 15 years old. This waiter had absolutely no people skills and we were made to feel very uncomfortable. I asked for a glass of Prosecco ‘I can get you a glass but you’re not having a bottle’ which was odd, that was literally all I asked for. It came to paying and their card machines were down. We offered cash but they can only take the exact amount. 20/30 minutes it took us to pay because of their poor card machines which is crazy for somewhere that’s seemingly cashless. I would only go back to do the brunch if I was drinking nothing but Prosecco or beer, and wouldn’t go back to this one due to the poor service and atmosphere....

Visited the establishment last night (15th of March 2023) aiming to have a quick late lunch and was saddened by the appalling service we received. It took 20 minutes for staff to come and take our drinks order alone. Food was then ordered about 15 minutes later and food had arrived before drinks. The food was good but not worth the price. I had the Bahian Coconut Chicken, essentially the rice was presumably a microwave packet - if not it would've cost about 30p to cook raw and the chicken itself maximum would've been about £3,£4 ish. You are essentially being charged for spices here but in no way was this worth the £16.50 that I paid. Once food had arrived we'd ordered another round of drinks. That took another 20 minutes to arrive. After the meal I wasn't even full and we'd split the bill by what we both had. All round I spent about £30 just on my meal alone. £30pp is not an affordable price for most and certainly not worth it with the lack of attentiveness of the staff. It could be suggested that they were understaffed that night but once you looked around, the restaurant wasn't even half full. Personally I don't think it was worth the money, there's nothing special to what I ate, it was essentially chicken korma - and not enough of it. I shall not be visiting this restaurant anytime soon. This is my...
