Made Deli — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Absolutely love getting my sandwiches from here, not an issue with the food but massive issue with the staff, well one in particular. Whilst there are times I can attend and stand in the shop and and wait for my food, there are also times I’ve had to ring in the order and nip in to collect due to fibromyalgia amongst other things, which again never been an issue. Today, I call and I’m told they won’t take my order and they don’t take orders at lunch which is a lie as it’s never ever been an issue before. We've been into Made a few times, the food has always been lovely and staff all so friendly. Today we tried ordering for delivery through their website for the first time and we will definitely be doing so again - sandwich and panini were absolutely delicious, price super reasonable and Made delivered themselves rather than using an external company which was really nice. We're both vegetarian and find the options really good and clear as to what is veggie and what isn't. So much choice for sandwich fillings so you can make your perfect sandwich, such a treat. I have lived near Made Deli for around 2 years and have only ever walked past it. The queues are usually very long at lunchtime and today I found out why. The sandwich I bought from them was unbelievably good. Every single ingredient in the sandwich tasted like a premium ingredient and you can tell they've spent a good amount of time sourcing the right stuff. The staff were quick and friendly too. I'll definitely be back to try more combinations. The pickles were out of this world...
