Pizzaholic — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

ok basically i just finished work, i told my wife i would order some food as i had nothing to eat all day and she has been busy all day , anyway that doesnt matter so we have paid pizzaholic for a order of £24.30 in total, for our food i put on the notes, MAKE SURE THE FOOD IS HOT, THANK YOU. and if we can have something free as most places do this, offer i received a phone call from the shop telling me i can have something free if i first put a good review (blackmailing) anyway my food came with in the 45 mins delivery driver very polite and a good guy he seemed, but unfortunately the food when we received it , it was absolutely freezing cold, so i got on the phone to pizzaholic and told them look my food is freezing cold and my cheese on both parmos was not even melted when i actually stated on my order that i want it fresh and hot, basically. the ladys reply was this is how food is ment to be i turned around to her on the phone and said flower look i used to work in a pizza shop for 7 year , this is not how food is ment to be she said it doesnt matter this is how the food is but once i told her again i used to work in a take away my self she then changed her tune a bit, and said ok i will send you again, by that time we were both really hungry so we decided to eat the freezing cold food, i wouldn't even have given to the fox's that roam the street at night.. i rang back up and told them look i feel sick of this food please dont send nothing else i dont want it her reply was so you have wasted my drivers time ? my reply was if you had done what i asked it in the first place i wouldnt have been speaking with her on the phone over this matter, so anyways i said ok let your driver come as at this rate i was feeling sick and really on the edge of going to actually be sick. the driver came eventually i said hello m8 he said here you go very hot chips ?? just chips ?? ok thank you i said as its not the drivers fault, i took the chips by this time i ran to my toilet and actually started to be sick, once i had finished being sick i took the food and chucked it in my bin i no 100% my food has been all of these.. BUT ANYWAYS I WOULD NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN NO WONDER THEY TOLD ME TO LEAVE A REVIEW FIRST, WHICH IS ACTUALLY GOING TO BE FOR THIS MATTER FROM HAPPENING ( LEAVING A REALLY POOR REVIEW) disgusting please keep away...

I cancelled my food order and Pizzaholic didn't provide a refund. They are SCAMMER LIARS and I spent nearly 2 hours wages on nothing.

On 10th March I ordered 2 x Vegan Nutella Tower Cakes and 1 x Classic Vegan Cheeseburger. We really just wanted some cake and couldn't be bothered to go to the shop. Big mistake.

I ordered the food via there website which redirects to a service called Feed Me Online to take the card payment. A little while after we ordered and paid for the food, Pizzaholic contacted us to say they don't have any tower cakes. We only wanted the cakes really so we requested them to cancel the order. No worries. I asked how long should it take for the money to get back into my account, they said they didn't know, maybe a couple of weeks.

Next, I waited nearly 3 weeks but no refund happened. I phoned Pizzaholic who said they don't know anything about 3 weeks ago and I need to contact Feed Me Online to find out where the refund is.

Feed Me Online advised there was not request for the refund. They contacted Pizzaholic who said the order had been delivered and no refund is required.

How can Pizzaholic deliver food that they don't have in stock? I asked them for photographic proof of the delivery docket which drivers have. As a business they have to keep stuff like that surely? It looks like they blocked me on Messenger because I can't send them another message and they didn't bother to respond.

Feed Me Online are no help. They can only go by what the restaurant are telling them and they can't investigate further. I won't get the money back but I've put complaints on every site I can think of just to warn other people. I've also contacted trading standards. Hopefully they have further proof and complaints from other customers who've been scammed by Pizzaholic.

Bottom line, Pizzaholic are scammers and liars. The food isn't great and it's not cheap. The chips are disgusting. I only ever get cake or a burger which are fine but still a bit expensive for what you get.

If you want to spend your money with them try to do it by cash and always check your order before the delivery driver leaves. 90% of the time something is missing. The driver can confirm or take a photo so hopefully you won't have to pay for the...

Orderd food last night and i live in a 3 storey block of flats delivery driver left a voicemail on my phone saying your foods out side he left my food out side the flats is he for real why didint he ring my buzzer and bring the food to second floor to my door when i read the voice mail i rung him back but got no answer so i ended up with no food i just thought he cudent be botherd to get out his car and tuck the food back to the shop and said he cudent find me like the email i got from just eat sayin ur driver carnt find u wen i rang the shop the day explaining i didint get my order and when i rang up last night the shop was shut they said he left it out side next to the wheely bins never thought in a million years he would of left my food out side the flats what a utter joke and the door to the flats is surrounded by wheely bins he whants sacked im foaming no refund either from the shop the owner said i should of came out side the block of flats and picked it up from wher the driver left it i told him he should not of left it out side and next to bins and should of rung my buzzer and brought it to my door then he hung up on me worst pizza shop ever wish id came to the reviews...
