We visited madhouse at 6pm on Saturday for what we thought would be bottomless brunch after booking it on the website on the bottomless brunch option to be told when we arrived this wouldn’t be possible. It is important to note we had visited madhouse prior to this and had no complaints. After being told bottomless wasn’t an option we were faced with horrible customer service from the man who is supposed to be ‘second in command’ with a massive lack of communication. The ‘manager’ had time to state he tried to contact us about the booking 5 times which was an absolute lie, he done no such thing whatsoever which was horrible to be blamed for an error made by him. We received no apology from him himself however the member of staff who dealt with us you could not fault she was lovely, an amazing member of the team that should be valued. In addition to this we had mistakes with our drinks and various other issues including customers who ordered way after us receiving their drinks first. We were offered two rounds of free shots however no refund for the drinks we bought which was extremely annoying as we have paid money for such bad service. Very sad to say we won’t be returning due to the rude customer service from management. Thank you so much to the member of staff who handled everything for us, she is a credit to the team and demonstrates amazing...
Read moreWe visited this venue for a hen party yesterday and unfortunately, the experience was really underwhelming. Upon arrival, we were delayed in being seated because they weren’t ready for us, despite the booking being made in advance.
Once we were finally seated, it took far too long to get our first drinks. I had pre-selected Prosecco via the form, but it was never brought out and we had to chase it up ourselves. Some drinks eventually came out, but half of our group was left waiting an additional 20 minutes before they received theirs. Over the entire session, each of us managed to get just around three drinks—which is hardly what you expect from a bottomless brunch.
As for the food—it was honestly more like a kid’s party platter than a brunch. We were served fish fingers, chicken nuggets, and turkey dinosaurs, with a small dish of beans to share among the whole group. There were about three small platters between all of us, which wasn’t anywhere near enough.
I’ve had much better bottomless brunches for half the price. At £40 a head, we all left feeling disappointed and frankly ripped off. The service was chaotic and made it seem like the venue simply couldn’t handle a full house.
