After some persuading the lads eventually agreed to try here for pre-match drinks as it's been advertised quite a bit locally. We got here around 1.20pm planning to have a few beers, maybe a bite to eat and watch the end of the early game before heading closer to the ground. Fairly empty bar on arriving but nice enough boozer, warehouse style interior. Pints bought we stood around the large circular table. Lagers, bitters & ciders ordered were all spot on. A few more customers appeared and we noticed Bargain Hunt on TV not the footy. I asked barman if he would switch match on. This is when it all went downhill for me. Bearing in mind it's Saturday (day of sport) and BT Sports signs outside! His reply was sorry MATEY the rugby's is coming on. I said ah right no worries but then asked when it starts he said not for another 25 mins MATEY (grr). I asked politely that surely the awesome Bargain Hunt could be switched to the footy until 2pm when the coverage of the rugby begins. His reply was if I can find the channel I'll switch it on when I get a chance. I said it's BT Sport the one you've got advertised everywhere outside. Ok MATEY I'll see if I can find it. He just didn't bother his backside, it never came on so we left. Nice atmosphere, good seating and a good selection of taps. Unfortunately I wasn't told about the charge for using a card under 5 pounds, which really (legally) I should have been. Visited Ware rooms for the launch of the Little Bao Boy food menu. Food, service and atmosphere were great. We tried a few different Bao buns and some loaded fries, all were packed full of flavour.
