Went in to the premises got severed by a lady with purple hair also there was another barmaid called kaci and a barman called Liam P they were all in a conversation purple hair handed my order carried on talking to the other 2 members of staff l had my card to pay purple one showed the card and paid she never told me if my card was accepted she carried on with there conversation and I had to ask if the payment had through which she turned round and said it had then carried on with the conversation and I said we'll you should of told me that it had ask me if I wanted a receipt and said thank you to me no apology from her is that the way a customer should be treated well I don't think so I could have had more to drink maybe a meal or come back again but with that treatment I don't think so I shall be telling people who I know about this service and that I wouldn't recommend the premises to go for a drink/meal Yours Neil Ramsey I will be waiting for a reply from the management and the time was about 4.45 to 5.00pm when I entered...

So disappointed!! We were over from Ireland & I picked this restaurant to celebrate my husbands big birthday. I emailed & made reservation in advance for 10 of us for 6:30pm on a Sunday. Reservation was confirmed & I was told we had the table for 2 hours. Reason why I picked this restaurant was because it served Sunday roasts. We arrived at 6;30 & told kitchen closed at 7 so hurry up & put orders in before it closed including desserts or we wouldn’t get anything! We had to write orders down ourselves & go to till with them (I wasn’t aware of this practice) Then told nearly everything we were ordering was not available-No roasts whatsoever-chicken, beef, turkey? No fish, no shepherds pie! Basically nothing left on menu! Then no desserts left either. Food was just mediocre. When the person behind the bar doesn't know what ABV is, then tells me they don't know the percentage of a spirit, instead of just grabbing it and reading, you know you're in for some class service. Coupled with telling me they can't be bothered to get ice for my drink because it's downstairs and they close 'soon' (30 mins), and trying to not serve me water (excellent promotion of responsible drinking), then I can safely say I won't be back 👍 Gives off brewery owned naff chain vibes, too.

Owner response: They told me I should either buy a bottle between pubs, or wait until just before going to bed before having a glass. They then went to serve the next person without giving me any, forcing me to ask again. You missed the 'brewery owned' part of my comment. You have also taken 'naff chain' to mean I think all chains are naff. Clearly I don't. I think some chains are naff, and that's the vibes I got...
