Boswells Cafe — Restaurant in Newport

Bit of mix review from me as been here 4 times first time was really nice had the breakfast sausages are really good and drinks are amazing 2nd and 3rd time stopped for coffee and was still good but the 4th time wasn't great ordered jacket potato cheese and coronation chicken which was OK but had no cheese on it also ordered the all day breakfast with no beans but came with bean juice on the eggs so not good and ordered a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw this was not up to scratch as very little butter on it so potato was dry had next to no cheese and the coleslaw was basically a garnish salad as there was no moisture in it as there was very little mayo was really let down with this as was so good the first...

This place is amazing. The food and the coffees are great. Our big point is the alternative milk (coconut) and it’s available but the difference from the mainstream cafés is the proper breakfast with vegan options and traditional select of quality dishes. The service is amazing, they’re not sticking to the menu, you can customize your breakfast. They’re smiling and being very polite and patient. They do table service for the dishes too. We went to this cafe on Saturday 22nd June. Both me and my partner ordered baked potatoes with side salad. The baked potatoes were lnot hot at all,and the salad looked like it was days out of date, with the peppers soft , limp and withered, the lettuce and red onion also looked.like they were out of date, with brown patches on them, and again were soft, floppy and limp when on your fork.
