Muffin Break Newry — Restaurant in Newry, Mourne and Down District Council

I've tried a couple things from their menu recently and I've got to say it's been pretty mediocre(I've had about 6 things so far so I may be wrong); be it their mud cake quite tasteless and a bit bitter and very stiff, as well as the carrot cake I got being another hard obviously end of tray piece, or the vanilla milkshake tasting extremely cheap and watery, however the atmosphere inside is lovely and I'd reccomend getting something cheap just to sit in lol, I'd say their chicken tikka sandwiches are a 7/10 (although many of the sandwiches look like they have little filling inside), and the apple cinnamon muffin I've had was good (true to the cafe name). A very hit or miss place ,you cannot just choose something random to eat I've come to find out.. its either great or trash...

I visited this place last year and had a great experience, so I thought I’d bring some friends along this time while passing through Newry. What a mistake. The place has clearly changed hands, and the new management seems clueless about how to offer any sort of welcoming, local service. The food was bland and tasteless, the coffee undrinkable—served far too hot and of poor quality. To top it off, we waited over 20 minutes just for our coffee. This place has seriously gone downhill, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone...

♾️/10 service and food , the servers are the most kindest and joyful people you could ever meet they greet you with a warm welcome when you come in and the food is fantastic I can’t stop thinking about the chocolate muffins and all their foods , I have to say the workers all work in harmony and can get things done efficiently which is perfect and the Hygiene is outstanding you get served with clean tables and clean cutlery, this is the best place to eat for any time of the day for anyone , I 100...
