OH THAI NEWRY — Restaurant in Newry, Mourne and Down District Council

Ordered the meal and i was handed my receipt and told i had to wait for a half hour. I asked why i wasn't told this before i ordered. I really would not have ordered if i had known i had to wait this length of time. 7Anyway the chicken in the massaman curry was tough the curry sauce ok. Fried potatoes were soggy. Fried rice was lovely pad Thai was ok. Meat starter box had a pool of soy sauce in the bottom which made the spring rolls soggy. Satay chicken sticks were tasteless, wings were tasteless. All coated with the soy sauce which i presume was coating the ribs. It was expensive and just ok. Would i return?...

Ordered food from here for the third time. Absolutely beautiful as it has been each time before. So tasty.

Lost stars as the first time, the order was wrong and the next two times the order was late. I was happy enough to let it go but tonight the order was over an hour and a half late (I ordered at 5:45 and it arrived at 8:20) so it came cold. I had a lovely surprise yesterday to find out that I was one of the lucky winners of the dinner for two competition with Oh Thai Newry, the winning dishes were Sweet Chilli Chicken and Garlic Pepper Chicken, both came with rice, both delicious with rice and plenty of veggies, which, I love. Service was excellent and attached to my order was a lovely note telling me to enjoy my meal! I would definitely recommend...
