It’s been years since I’ve been here. Quite a few of the shops are now closed and with Debenhams also gone it’s not worth the drive to it unless you’re handy. Some shops are outside the main mall which is a pain in the butt - M&S, Next, M&S Food. Only discovered the M&S shops when driving out to go home as the stores were really only visible as we were exiting. Better if they were under the one roof as by the time you come out of the main mall you can’t be bothered with the other shops. Paying to park is £1 for 1-2 hours. Toilets were upstairs towards the cinema but a few kids were knocking about so security were chasing them out. There’s a small Subway, Café Nerro, Starbucks and Eddie Rockets which is great. Waterstones is the best shop in the complex. Definitely nothing to drag me back to this shopping centre. Plenty of parking though.

Nice shopping centre with good range of shops. Has lots of carousel type cars for children and you can hire mini cars to push toddlers around in while you shop. It has a large Sainsburys too. Plenty of parking outside (paid). Large Next store across the street and a number of pharmacies to choose from. The best part of this shopping experience was Santa's Winter Wonderland. There was barely any queue and was only £2/child. They have a lovely wonderland to walk through with a scene from Frozen and A Naughty Elf scene, among others. At the back you get to visit Santa who spends lots of time talking to each child and makes it a very special experience. They get a selection box too. It was such a great experience and nice to see the magic of Christmas alive without fleecing people. Overall it was a nice shopping centre.

The Quays is one of the best shopping centers to shop as it has close to or even more than 50 outlets and almost all of them come under the tier A shops. I went there during the Christmas week and the decor was so lit !! Try out the gumballs and chocolates for a couple of pences that's placed in the walking corridors. Keep track of time !! You do get lost with all the shopping :)

Where do I start....We called into this bar on Saturday 24th March with a large group of girls. We bought plenty of drinks over an hour and half. A couple of us left to get a taxi (including one person who was sober - no alcohol consumed what-so-ever!) asked the bouncer on the door where we could get a taxi to our hotel - firstly he told us to walk, which we explained that in heels all day we would prefer a taxi, he then continued to call us ignorant, half-reared northerners, to go back up north to f@#k. The array of language that followed and abuse we received from this excuse for a doorman was absolutely unprovoked and uncalled for. To make things worse........the second group of girls who decided to leave shortly after us, made the huge error of asking this same bouncer (with a grey goatee beard) for a taxi also and what he said to them also it not suitable to even recall. It was an absolute disgrace that we spent easily 300 euro in the space of time we were in the bar - enjoying ourselves being very reserved and having great fun to then leave, ask for a simple favour of where we would get a taxi and receive such an embarrassing to say the least rant of abuse from a grown man for NO REASON!!!!!!!!!!! It is safe to say that I nor the other 16 ladies who I was with will ever step foot in the bar again. Hopefully no other ladies will receive the sort of abuse we had to endure on Saturday night! The only reason this has one star is that I had to give it one to comment! It’s a def...

Today I went into the quays in what should’ve been a simple experience. However it was made problematic by one man. Upon entering the barriers which were having a technical problem. Thus they were opened to be entered. I subsequently entered without a ticket as it was not working. Upon finalising my collection from Argos Newry all done within 2 minutes might I add. I then headed for the exit. This is where I met the problem. This disrespectful man approached me and asked where is my ticket, to which if you have comprehension skills this far you will know I do not have a ticket to which I transcribed to this man. He then proceeds to ask for a pound which unfortunately I didn’t have and couldn’t pull out of thin air. He then proceeds to open it, and says that next time don’t come in if I’m not “willing to pay”. Now for one I wouldn’t have had to pay as I went into argos where there is a ticket machine if you spend the minimum which in my two minutes of shopping I did. Meaning if the barriers were functioning I would have gotten a ticket and thus would have inputted in the machine making it free. For two this customer service was nothing short of disrespect, unjustified and plain rude. I suggest some basic respect for your employees as it should be the...
