Had lunch here after seeing lots of space to dine. Expensive for what it is. Childrens meal £7 consisted of 2 overcooked sausages and 14 chips if you wanted beans or peas that was an extra charge! Wouldn’t mind if it included a drink but it didn’t! Ham and tomato sandwich was cheaper than kids meal and larger portion. purchased 3 cokes at £3.30 each which was actually just a multipack can! Seem to price drinks based of ml eg fruit shoot costs £2.75 for 275ml bottle as does the j2o bottles of which I ordered 2 and was served the wrong flavours. Burger was plain and bland and bun was burnt. Seen another family come in get a menu and walk back out no wonder with the prices they charge! Won’t be back again

Came here for a carvery today, on holiday and staying nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The carvery was absolutely delicious. So much choice and perfectly cooked. Best roast I've had. Highly recommend but book in advance

Great Sunday carvery. Booked a table as recommended. Food was really well cooked, plenty of choice of veg and 3 meats. Service was good and the staff were friendly. Good value at £13.95. Would highly recommend

Popped in here yesterday 2nd March 2025 as it was advertising a carvery! Not unusual I hear you say, but the pub around the corner was but when we requested it, they said they don't do one (despite the board outside!!) Came back here as we saw it as we were walking in earlier. Certainly wasn't a mistake, choice of 3 meats and how much you wanted, huge yorkshire pudding, large sausage to go with it and a choice of about 8 veg and that doesn't include the roasties!!!!!! Not expensive and would certainly return if ever down that way again. Give it a try and you...

What a shame, we ordered two Devon cream teas and they were lovely, however we wanted to order an extra scone on its own (and to pay for it) so that we could eat up the extra cream and jam - but they refused. The girl behind the till said we’d have to pay for a whole cream tea again £7.95 (just for the scone) because the till couldn’t cope….

What happened to flexibility and customer service. It’s a thumbs down from me. Otherwise it...
