The Bucket List — Restaurant in North Norfolk

Had some chips from bucket list when they were at Snetterton. Wasn't very impressed with the food at all especially for the price paid. My mum had the mac and cheese chips and only had a few chips when she discovered a hair inside the mac and cheese. Which then put me off my chips. We were going to complain and take the food back but considering there was a que we decided to just cut our losses and leave.

The guy who was frying the chips had no health and hygiene knowledge as he was cross contaminating with all ingredients and wiping his hands after every ingredient on his trousers. Which we were shocked by, should have known we were in for a bad experience then.

Since leaving a review on there Facebook page stating my experience they have blocked me from there page (which I think is mad for business to do that and not reply)

Will be staying away from this company...

We've been here several times now and the food is always really good! Chips are hot and crispy, topping are always delicious!

Reason for 4 stars:

The service is quite slow.

Its often a 20+ minute wait and customers are dealt with one at a time. So you'll still have that same wait, even if you just want a bucket of cheesy chips.

They have a system where you order on the right but wait on the left. This catches many people out who end up queueing, only to then realise they need to order first, then go to the back of the queue again.

They often have 3 people working, but only one person cooking and serving. I feel like the service would be much quicker if they had one person focusing on cooking, and another serving the buckets.

Overall though I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone...

Been going for a while now, and have had some lovely buckets from them. However tonight I went, made an order of 5 buckets for my family and wasn't very impressed. The young lad with glasses lightly dusted the buckets with the old crumbs of cheese in his tub instead of opening an new packet to use. And when I got home my wife's order which was cheddar with aoili, and added bacon, contained sadly no bacon... Which I only realised when I unwrapped the buckets when I got home. I tried calling the number that was displayed on their Facebook to complain and ask for a new bucket. But there was no answer. It's a shame but I am not impressed with my last experience, and it has unfortunately tainted my love for their "new take...
