A very unpleasant owner. Only 4 tables, one is occupied by owners dog so only 3 available. People coming in asking for a table get their heads bitten off with “It’s only a small shop can’t you see" The owner was constantly bickering at the waitress and when she made any sensible suggestion such as take the dog out the back his standard reply was “Don’t tell me how to run my business, if you don’t like it go". A large plant in a drinking glass fell off the counter whilst one customer was waiting to be served. Owner blamed the customer saying it’s been there for 3 weeks. Customer walked out. I told owner, loud enough for everyone to hear, I saw it fall and the customer did not touch it, it was his fan that blew it off, so he blamed previous customers for moving it. The red setter who sits and watches loves a gentle fuss. No problem if you have a dog with you, just sit down. Even the resident dog just looks at incomers and wags his tail.
