What a delightful little cosy Cafe at 22 Front Street, Tynemouth, North Shields. Served by Macey( hope the name is correct) with excellent customer service, ty Macey šŸ‘ The food was absolutely delicious, I haven't had a Jacket Potato like that in years AND the chef even came upstairs and asked if we'd like butter on it under the filling and how much, wow ! We opted for alot of butter 🧈 Decor inside just gorgeous, so cosy. Prices very reasonable as in photos and very relaxing vibe. You can sit outside or 2 areas inside. Area at the back looked larger and that seemed to be where the prams and young children were going. Thankyou for making our lunch so special...

Rene's of Tynemouth is a lovely cafe with a nice homely feel, friendly staff and in a prime location for lunch if your on a day out in Tynemouth. With a cafe though it's the food and drink that really matter and Rene's really delivers, the coffee is nice (proper coffee machine) and my panini was delicious (cajan chicken, cheese and jalapeno šŸ‘Œsee photo). I'm more of a fancy bar lunch guy but Rene's is like if your living room was a tea room, and it does it well. Only setback was the wait, almost 45 mins for a sandwich and a panini! Having said that it was Remembrance Sunday and the place was packed! This is probably a one off so definitely try it...

Lovely little cafe. The chef & the waitress were both really nice & friendly. The veg & lentil soup was lovely and cozy, served in a cute clay pot, with a soft bread roll and a pot of room-temp butter. Both our Americano coffees were great, and served in pre-heated mugs, so they weren't ice cold before we'd even had a sip (I'm always annoyed when coffee shops don't account for cold mugs, as otherwise you gotta down your coffee within 30 seconds of receiving it). The decor is cute, and sits in a nice spot between modern and kitch. I'd definitely...

Good location. Interior’s quite cosy, parts of it gives grandparents house vibes which isn’t a criticism, is actually a welcomed break from modern minimalism that is often soulless, clinical and sterile. The food and coffee isn’t terrible or great, just alright. Whilst I appreciate the vegan option, it’s on the lower end of vegan hot dogs I’ve tried, quite small too. The sandwich was even more disappointing. I did really enjoy the carrot cake, generous portion too. Find the staff to be quite unwelcoming and unfriendly.
