Giancarlo's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in North Warwickshire

After reading the reviews and looking at the pictures we had high hopes only to be left disappointed. The hostess was lovely, and very attentive - the only reason service doesn’t get 5 stars is because a table of friends to the hostess was served before us despite us sitting down 10 minutes prior. The food wasn’t what we expected at all with any bread served was stale, hard and clearly warmed up - most likely from the previous day, not fresh like advertised. The spaghetti bolognaise had very little mince in and was pretty much just a tin of tomato’s on pasta, this looked nothing like the pictures on reviews. The chicken in the pollo alla crema was dry. We left very disappointed as we were hoping for a decent Italian on our doorsteps that we could return to, after this experience this isn’t somewhere we will recommend...

Wow wow wow, this most unassuming restaurant is an absolute gem, the meal we had this evening, at short notice after being at an event at the NEC was a pure God send, the most succulent and well cooked king prawns in a beautiful sauce followed by a succulent and tasty chicken dish with hand cut chips , my wife having a pasta dish and finishing with Tiramasu light enough to float, Everything freshly cooked by the very modest Giancarlo whom is a consummate professional, we were delightfully served by the lovely Pat who made us very welcome, thank you xxxx To visit is a must not to is a crime, Coleshill doesn't realise how much talent is on their doorstep, Very...
