I would very much like to thank the management and staff of Hedleys for taking such good care of me when I became unwell during a recent visit. The manager was most sympathetic and attentive , constantly monitoring my situation in case I needed medical assistance I was particularly grateful for the kindness and care given by the lovely Lithuanian member of staff. She provided cold cloths for my forehead and ice for my neck. She also took my blood pressure She stayed with me until I was feeling better. I was very touched and comforted by her calming caring presence during what for me was a distressing time. A massive thank you to all the staff. Read moreWe stopped for lunch at Hedley’s on the second day of a week’s vacation, our first visit to Northern Ireland, or anywhere else overseas, for that matter. The home-cooked food couldn’t have been more delicious, and the staff were kind and welcoming to strangers from across the ocean. A man who I assume is the owner showed us to our table, carried one of our trays, and came back to check on us – service completely unexpected in what appeared at first to be a cafeteria-style self-service restaurant. We also bought scones for later that evening however as they looked so tasty we sampled one with our tea. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The refills of our tea made everything even better. The staff were friendly and the place was clean bright and welcoming.
