The woman with red hair there was lovely and explained how the salad bar worked because I got confused. She was polite and smiley and exactly who you want serving your customers. However when she sent me over to the man on the till to pay he was extremely rude to me. He asked me was trying to ask if I wanted ice with my Fanta but I couldn’t hear him as it’s a bank holiday in a busy canteen so I said “I’m sorry what did you say?” He huffed and repeated what he said but this time just “ice!” And rolled his eyes. I still didn’t hear him but he looked mad so I said I don’t know what you’re saying. He said in a really angry voice “do you want ice in your drink” but he said it as if I’m a child being ridiculous. I then heard him and said “oh right no thank you” but before he could finish my sentence he spoke over me with “£10.50” and walked away. I researched breakfast places in derry and synge and byrne came up number 1 so i thought to go in for the first time, as soon as i stepped in the kindness of the staff welcoming me in was above! Staff were absolutely lovely i could go on all day about them, they made sure i was happy with everything! Now the food absolutely stunning, i got the avocado smash and it was just beyond beautiful! I devoured it 🥰 This place deserves huge huge credits i am really impressed with this place and is now my NO.1 go to for a beautiful breakfast and lovely service! Read moreHave been a regular here for a while as food was always delicious and staff very friendly. Unfortunately at my last visit this weekend I ordered my usual Chipotle ciabatta. When I started eating it I realised it didn't have the same taste and seemed to be mostly bread and cheese. I opened the sandwich to see there was only one small measly piece of chicken. I spoke to the staff about this who informed me that new regulations prevent them from adding more than 50g of chicken to any sandwich.
