As a bubble tea enthusiast, I was excited to visit this shop during the student night buy-one-get-one promotion and raffle event. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. To participate, I had to scan a QR code from their flyer to claim the discount, which then required downloading their app and registering. Given the poor signal in the shopping mall, this process became quite frustrating and took a long time to complete. By the time I managed to bind the coupon to my account, I was already feeling less enthusiastic about the visit.
That said, the queue moved quickly, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. I ordered a large milk tea and a fruit tea, and while the wait wasn’t long, the drinks themselves were underwhelming. The milk tea tasted entirely of artificial flavoring with no real milk taste, despite the label claiming it contained milk. Having tried other bubble tea shops in Norwich, I must say this was the least enjoyable experience, with both drinks ending up mostly untouched. I wouldn't return, and based on my experience, I would personally rank the Norwich bubble tea shops as Lightea Gongcha...

Certainly enjoyed the quick service and the tea itself, however I’ve rated lower stars due to hearing the staff constantly have out of work conversations and not nice ones either. They were talking very Loud how they want to quit their job and complaining about working here. Not the sort of thing you want to hear when purchasing a beverage from any shop. I felt like I had walked in and disturbed the conversation. Not a...
Read moreDon’t bother. Out of the four times I’ve tried to get a bubble tea here, three times they’d run out of tapioca. When I questioned them on it they said they usually do because they only get a certain amount in. It’s one of the main ingredients of bubble tea… if you can’t keep your stock up to demand that’s pretty useless. Don’t waste your time; go to Chatime on Dove Street or Moya in Castle Quarter...
