Chopstix — Restaurant in Norwich

Is this even Chinese food?!?! It’s the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had honestly. The veg noodles is tasteless and oily and undercooked. Rice didn’t look like egg fried rice as it’s labelled, it looks rather unappealing. I had orange chicken but the chicken was so thickly battered and too soggy, there is no taste of orange at all, just sugar-loaded sauce. I didn’t want to waste the food and was forcing myself to finish. The spring rolls skin was too thick with too little filling and very soggy. There was no taste that’s typical of the Chinese spring roll at all. The pumpkin katsu was the only thing that tasted decent but it’s not a typical Chinese dish. Reminds me of Panda Express in US. The queue was so slow, there was 3 staff at the counter and each customer takes at least 8-10 minutes to scoop the food, get the drinks then pay. The flow of service is definitely faulty. The paper box is so small it’s really difficult to scoop the food out to eat. In any counter served F&B outlet, isn’t it common for servers to at least wear a mask. They talk to customers with the food in front of them, it’s not hygienic at all. I’ll not...

I had a really terrible experience today with a staff member named (fatima). I'm not pretty sure if she gave us her real name because she's not wearing any name badges. She verbally insulted me, and it seemed she took great pleasure in humiliating me in front of restaurants. She asked me to leave the restaurant twice when I sat quietly, charging my phone because I was (1%/ battery) while waiting for my husband. The fact I wasn't waiting for long, I was sitting there for 10 minutes because I arranged a meeting with my husband for lunch in chopstix chappelfield Norwich. I was even more surprised when she called the security guard to remove me from the premises. Sadly I feel if I were English and not Filipino, this would not have happened. My husband and most of my friends love chopsticks restaurant because of the incident and the rudeness of the staff; I feel we won't come back...

This Chopsticks is not what would have expected. We had it many times in Woking and liked it a lot. Hot food ( temperature wise) generous portions, sometimes they would make the food while waiting whuch was great. We would always go for a medium portion with two toppings. I did the same thing in this one but the portions were almost halved compared to the branch in Woking. Little noodles and toppings, somewhat dry and unappealing. The girl serving us had a foreign accent she was wearing glasses and a ponytail. I haven't seen her name. Perhaps the manager of this branch instruct her to make tiny portions or perhaps she took upon herself to be stingy. Either way if they read this they can clarify it amongst themselves which one was at fault for such small portions. I don't think I will go here again, as this is the second time and both times...
