Costa needs to state on the entrance if they cannot cater for more than groups of 4. We were 4 adults and one toddler (5 in total - still following government guidelines.) On the sign outside there was a poster that said they were following government guidelines of no more than 6, however they didn't state that they are ONLY allowing tables of 4. We were told when ordering we would have to sit on 2 separate tables however every other table was sectioned off (due to social distancing). All tables were set up as a 4 and we were told that it is not allowed to sit more that 4 chairs at the table. I then said my 2 year old could sit on my lap, the lady replied very rudely and said it wasn't allowed. We felt as though we were treated as if we were criminals! Me and my sister decided to leave and try and find somewhere else that would cater for 5 while my mum and nanny asked for a refund. While half of the group had left it was only then that another manager came out and offered 2 tables together. By then this was far too late! Terrible customer service, the worst I have ever experienced. I cannot explain how rude the staff was towards us and they treated us as if was our fault. Please make it clear on entrance that you do not cater for more than groups of 4 to save...
Read moreAngels in a coffee shop I had an unfortunate and very scary moment where my car had broken down at the same time my phone was nearly out of battery on my way to work. I sank in a deep panic and rushed in the coffee shop shaking that Iâll take anything cheap to charge my phone and ask for help. They calmly said no worries especially a young lady who calmly pointed a charging point snd walked a takeaway coffee to me. I think she could see my panic and exhaustion as I kept running in snd out to check my car and sit under the table to check my phone due to an extremely short charge cable I had. Luckily 3 Albanians who sat having their coffee outside saw me and said âdonât worryâ they actually helped push start my car. I did cry and scream. I ran back in the shop waving a tenner as I frantically tried to Sue my car was still running so could actually go to work. She didnât take it! In fact she said âdonât worryâ. I canât explain actually how all those involved helped me a lot. The pain snd distress dispersed as those people out of their own heart kindly aided me on. Albanians! Praise our European connection. The staff - I owe you and utterly greatful. Bless you and thank you. Iâll...
Read moreI had a great experience here. I'm sorry I didn't get the ladies name but as we gave our order we stated we would be eating in and the place was fairly busy (whilst showing good levels of social distancing I might add). We could only see 1 table available from the cashier position so assumed this was ours. Whilst waiting for our order I noticed a lady walked into the store and took a seat at the table whilst her husband joined the queue. Without saying a word the lady serving us walked over to the table and asked the lady to move and offered for the lady to wait for a table. Such a simple thing but most people would avoid having this difficult conversation. I was really impressed. Service was excellent...
