Greggs — Restaurant in Norwich

For a large chain FOOD business the place should meet a certain standard, one beyond that expected of them by the council. Several months ago you had your first 1 star review for cleanliness. What’s changed ? Little if any….

My table leg/foot has some nasty baked on filth surrounded by a sticky floor and old food. There is a food ingredients sticker stuck to the table. The entire landscape of the store is littered with mess from previous customers, how is stuff like this missed ? You score a 5 on food hygiene from July 23’ I really hope front of house doesn’t reflect the back 😕

I’ve been here just over 20 minutes still no cleaning yet there has not been more than 8 customers...

Go to this branch pretty regularly. The staff are always friendly and whatever food we have always seems fresh and tasty. As for other people's reviews about cleanliness; this branch can get VERY busy at times, as on match day. The staff deal with the crowds quickly but courteously. As soon as someone is free the staff always dedicate to tidy and clean, emptying bins and germ clearing tables and high chairs etc. Some people are just ignorant and leave terrible messes -even with empty bins. I took a bite of my sausage roll to find a nice long grey hair, ending up feeding them to my dogs. Anyway some girl probably in her 20s called mia who served me didnt say nothing i get social anxiety is a thing but you can atleast say Hi, Surprising that this greggs is still open 1/10 wouldn’t recommend, Rubbish bins were full to the brim, broken toilet, floor was flithy.
