Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Norwich

Have come twice in the last month and we won't be returning! Staff friendly enough,the few there are. Both times there were no clean or clear tables. Neither times was it busy. After 2pm. The meal we ordered first visit took well over 30 minutes. Whilst waiting for our food we watched as staff walked past full tables of dirty plates etc.. The food, burger and chips, was cold, we had no time to complain. Sadly the same second visit was no different..we didn't bother with food, but had to wait 10 minutes to be pay and be served 2 coffees.. on a dirty tray. I asked for the dirty table to be wiped. Having worked in hospitality industry the whole set up is poor. Unclean, dirty tables, cutlery not washed properly, trays for cutlery and customers grotty. Food display a mess...poorly presented, sandwiches poor selection. Toasties and chips only hot...

This morning, I visited Morrison’s to enjoy a large ‘Big English breakfast’ paired with a cup of hot chocolate. Despite a steady flow of customers, my meal arrived promptly, which was much appreciated. While this wasn’t quite my favourite English breakfast from recent months, it is certainly one of the most competitively priced at a very reasonable £8.75

Additionally, Morrison’s seems to operate efficiently with a streamlined team, which likely contributes to their ability to offer such good value compared to some competitors. If you’re on a tight budget and short on time—especially if you want the convenience of free parking—I would definitely recommend giving this...

Rude & miserable staff. Waited 30 minutes for a sausage bap and bacon bap. Not busy at all in the cafe but staff were more busy in standing around chatting. Multiple unclean tables. Very slow service. Politely asked a member of staff if they could check on our food and got told “I can’t make it come any quicker” after having waited 30minutes for 2 simple baps.
