KAUAI Virgin Active Nottingham — Restaurant in Nottingham

We were really looking forward to the new cafe opening and it is impressive but very expensive. The menu prices are the same as those at the the Virgin in Soho. The portions are small and a very limited non kid friendly menu on offer. Previously you could get a kids sandwich and snacks for the kids which were reasonable. Now there is only salted popcorn, no small cakes or crisps to tempt the kids, the kids drink is pip organic for £3.50. I understand it is a health cafe but there should be options. Sometimes a can of something fizzy is needed. Saying that i often have a cup of tea and the service is good. I have had the salmon and eggs which although very small for £11.50 was nice, i just can't justify the cost often. Whereas previously we would just the cafe a few times a week...

The new cafe at Virgin Active Nottingham is very nice, the food is excellent and staff super friendly. I'm rather fussy about my coffee however Saffron makes it just how i like it! Simra makes excellent raps and Brianna is always cheerful My only criticism is if you are charging London prices the food portions need to match! Excellent service from Simra and Saffron and great drinks! Brilliant for a post gym refuel. However, I would really like to see the nutritional information on the board such as protein content. I would also love to see fruit based protein drinks. However on the whole, excellent staff and service and love that we have this now in Nottingham...
