The Slow & Steady — Restaurant in Oxford

I recently visited The Slow & Steady pub in Oxford and was truly impressed by the overall experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax. The menu is diverse, with something to satisfy every palate. I particularly enjoyed the rich flavors of the other dishes I tried—they were exceptional.

However, I must mention that the chicken wings, unfortunately, did have an issue with being a bit hairy. Despite this, it didn't overshadow the otherwise fantastic experience. Great place as you would expect from a dodo pub.

We spent the evening outside, lovely atmosphere and great food. The pizza was really good, the burger was average. I remember 5/6 years ago eating one of the best burgers I have had at the up in arms. They also had it available during lockdown as DIY at home with all the ingredients in a box. Would be great to have same quality back, I understand it was a choice down to cost but it could maybe be and extra options on menu at extra cost ?

My local dodo pubs in cheltenham are both tiny compared to this place, it's a great sized pub with a huge garden area that has been put together really well! The staff all seem really genuine and helpful, the food was fab, and there's a bloody arcade upstairs?! What a banger! It's a bit out my way, but once I've passed my driving test, I'll definitely be making the trip to visit more often.
