"Victors Oxford" offers a distinctive and upscale dining experience in the heart of Oxford. This restaurant is known for its vibrant atmosphere, blending a chic and contemporary interior with a lively, social dining scene. The decor is Instagram-worthy, with soft pastels, floral installations, and elegant furnishings that create a visually stunning environment. The menu at Victors Oxford is inspired by modern American cuisine, featuring a variety of dishes that are as visually appealing as they are delicious. The small plates concept encourages sharing, making it a perfect spot for groups or those who enjoy trying a bit of everything. Popular dishes often include sushi rolls, sliders, and other creative takes on classic dishes, all presented with an artistic flair. Service at Victors is typically attentive and friendly, contributing to the overall welcoming vibe of the place. Whether you're there for brunch, dinner, or just a few cocktails, the experience is designed to feel special, making it a great choice for celebrations or a stylish night out. However, some might find the prices a bit steep, particularly for the portion sizes, which can be on the smaller side given the focus on small plates. Additionally, the lively atmosphere might not suit those looking for a quiet, intimate meal. But for those who appreciate a blend of style, good food, and a buzzing atmosphere, Victors Oxford is likely to impress. Willis was the best service staff I have ever experienced he should be given £1000 bonus with immediate effect

Edited: To the owner......we decided to added more details as you want to 'discuss'..... The moment we walked in: Not welcoming at all........we booked our table, and since the first moment we walked in, where the staff at the front door did acknowledged us but was so busy for taking phone calls.... Food: the sashimi did not feel fresh, where they tasted like plastic jelly instead of good quality fish..... please compare your quality with other Japanese restaurants and fish mongers for the fish in sashimi grade. Then a manager look-a-like did not know what's sauce the dish came with when we asked..... what he told us was not what it was.... However, the desserts are very nice and very well presented. Finally, bill... The bill was wrong, the staff offered a 'discount' as it was wrong/ miscalculated (it was less than it should), but we insisted to pay for full.....where the staff suggested that they cannot redo the bill by offered it as a discount instead.....we don't appreciate the offer as a discount to cover your mistake plus rejected to correct the bill when we requested... Particularly you are doing this in front of our kid for covering your wrong doing.. Nevertheless, the overall presentation and atmosphere is very very good, food quality is so far ok, but not the best.. the staff and management is the main issue...

Our first time in Oxford so we wanted a nice place to eat. There’s some great choices in and around Oxford. Some real competition, but Victors won our heart ❤️ when we stepped in to book the table. Victors is located in the ‘Westgate’ centre along with many others on the upper floor. I wasn’t sure what parking was like as we walked into Oxford from our hotel. We were able to book a table for the same evening. Upon arrival we were able to pick the table we’d like and were served pretty much straight away. The Menu was good, not a huge selection, but that’s a good thing so you don’t get drowned in options. Some great small and large plate choices. Prices are very reasonable too. The Drinks menu was amazing! A whole booklet of drinks, including Frangelico! My favourite. A very rare nutty liqueur. ✅ 🍹 The food was delivered within good time and was absolutely amazing! We then had a dessert and shared it. The portion for dessert are very generous, again, delicious! 🍨 Throughout the night, we were treated with upmost high standards, and enjoyed the fuss. Thank you much Gino and Charles 💫 Other options: - Malmaisson - Chez Mal Brassiere & Bar - The Ivy - The Alice All great options to try. 🍴🥘

The decor is stunning. The place has outdoor seating for drinks-only visitors, while indoor seating is for dining in. The staff were very friendly and doing their best, and the dishes I got (panko squid, steak fillet and sourdough bread) were all delicious. That said, it was clear that the place was extremely understaffed. We didn't get water for ~10 minutes initially, followed by a 30 minute wait for our small-plate order, which was more of an appetizer. The big plates are more medium than big, and though delicious, took a further half hour to be brought out. My order was wrong, so I waited another half hour (this is now 1.5 hours after arrival) for the correct dish to be brought out, which was amazing. I then got sourdough bread because the wait had made me hungrier than before. Throughout, it was difficult to flag waiters to refill our water. I don't blame the staff for the delays and mistakes. They are doing their utmost best to juggle the work of three each. I believe it is the lack of staff that caused the long waits to be served. I did get a discount due to the mix-up and the long wait, so there's that. But overall, the wait just wasn't worth the food to me.

Very disappointed... The restaurant is very well decorated and definitely has the right atmosphere. We had dinner for a birthday on Thursday night and we were shocked by the portions. £28 for a piece of salmon with some miso glaze and two tenderstem broccoli, then the burger was £18 and it came in a bun, meat patty, melted cheese and a ketchup and mayo sauce kind of burger sauce. The food wasn't anything amazing, the cheese of the burger was literally the same that MC Donald's have. They also do not have any allergy friendly food which makes ordering very difficult as our birthday girl was gluten free and hardly anything to order except 1 main... The only gf dessert was ice-cream. I think they should save money on branded paper and add a leaf of lettuce in the burger and update their menu. They had large functions with a very loud group of people, we complained about it and the waiting staff told us that they were leaving. So we spend a fortune to eat in a club with very cheap food at Michelin star level prices instead of a posh refined restaurant. Literally visited a Michelin star restaurant for lunch which was 1000% better and cheaper. Never come back again.
