The Waterfront — Restaurant in Perranzabuloe

Now this place is just amazing. Been coming to Perranporth for a few years now and only just started using the Waterfront over a year ago after being disappointed with expensive and very mediocre and poor food from the so called pub on the beach!!! The welcome in the Waterfront is amazing and soon became friends with the owners John and Isabelle and their family. Tried many items from the menu which is freshly cooked by John and crew so there is a small wait time but it’s worth it and to be expected. Food is delicious, full of flavour and ample for any appetite. Dirty fries are amazing but this year I was hooked on Johns fresh hand made burgers which are superb. Ate a good few in the Waterfront and when on the beach, it was always a takeaway of freshly made cheeseburger and chicken burger. Had many a good evening session when food service had stopped and a great chat and catch up with John at the bar. The outside eating area is also a great option to eat outside with ample seating. Dogs are also made welcome and plenty of water bowls are available for the dogs to cools down. At the bottom of the garden is a play area for children with toys supplied by John and Isabelle. All in all this to me is the best family eatery in Perranporth where the food is great, the prices are very acceptable with the best hospitality I’ve ever encountered. Sat outside as there was outdoor seating only due to covid, but no probs. Sat at table 29 and was approached by a young waiter named Finn. Polite, helpful, knew the menu and friendly with a smile behind the facemask, he took our order and recommend a few dishes, I settled for the Flappy Ending and the wife had the New Yorker, a diet coke and an Atlantic Ale(Finn the 16 year old Finn now knows what ICI Bubble Bath is and Proper Beer is 😉😁) Drinks then food arrived both plates were full and well presented. Tucked in as you do and the food is well cooked, chips crispy and crunchy the Flappy Ending was very well thought out n put together, the New Yorker was the same, quality was good, so all in all as a first time customer I was impressed from start to finish and already had made the decision to go back later in the week and try another dish. If you're ever in Perranporth and you need a good place to eat, I'd say this place is top 3 in the little town 😉 and bossman of The waterfront Finn should be paid more, he's a good kid n waiter 😉😁😁 Edit Went back and was served by the other Finn. I can't say enough positive things about The Waterfront in Perranporth, especially when it comes to the staff and the food! From the moment we stepped in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality, making us feel right at home.
