Frankly, what we experienced and saw in this place was disgusting. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever & only applying covid rules when it suits them! Firstly we were made to walk in through the pub and out to the garden, completely unnecessary, every other pub we’ve been to recently has allowed us to just sit outside and not have to go inside the building at all. The first table we sat at was sticky, and not clean. The next didn’t have a number. When my sister did order our drinks via the app, we waited over 25 minutes for them, no apology when they finally arrived, they were just slapped down in front of us, and the waitress got very close, and wasn’t wearing a mask. Then we saw one of the staff shouting at two customers who had apparently used the wrong door, she was incredibly aggressive. I have never seen anything like it. She literally pursued them out of the pub still shouting at them, arms flapping in anger. If she worked for our family business I’d of fired her on the spot. I know everyone is finding all this Covid business tricky at the moment, but if you work in an industry particularly hard hit, I’d of thought some common courtesies and keeping customers happy was the number one priority. Needless to say we decided not to order food, and left as soon as possible. We won’t be returning. In my view it doesn’t even deserve the 1 star we have to give in order to place...

We ordered a steak, and a chicken burger. It came to £30+ which seemed excessive for a whether spoons but as we'd upgraded to alcoholic drinks we thought that might be why. The drinks came and the waitress didn't know which was the single and which was the double, so we had to guess! No straws and spirit hadn't been mixed in so all coke on top and all spirit on bottom, my boyfriends tasted likes mix of two different alcohols and was just gross so he couldn't drink it. Food arrived, it's got to be the smallest portion of chips with the burger we've ever seen, probably about 10 chips in total, plus the burger was dry. The steak was cooked well and was tasty but a fair bit of it was chewy/fatty, and the jacket potato was dry as hell even with butter on. Service was poor too, we asked for a straw and she said yes but then never came back and then put her head down and wouldn't make eye contact when she had to go by. Overall not sure what we paid for, we picked this as options seemed slim and thought you can't go wrong with a spoons, how wrong we were! Cannot recommend. Also on the way out I knocked their stupid menu stand and it fell on my foot, turned around to see the bar staff all laughing instead of helping, it's actually cut my foot and really hurts but I just walked out as who wants to deal with staff...

Definitely the worst Bar/Restaurant I have ever experienced! After being told the wait on food was 40 minutes when we ordered, we patiently waited…….and waited……and waited……and waited……. After two hours and quite a few requests along the way when our dinners would be served, and being told ours was next out after another table…….and watching another table and another table and another table get served…… and finally asking again….. the manager came out and refunded us after waiting so long, by this time the children were starving and starting to cry, when I asked again how much longer we would have to wait the manger said “We’ve refunded you” and have cancelled your order!!!!🤯 unbelievable and no idea about customer service at all!! Left the place afterwards with children in tears after 2 and a 1/2 hours of waiting!!! Would give this place and their team a 0 star rating if I could!!! Would definitely say go elsewhere and save yourself the torture of such...
